I didn't go......and I was even on many committees that helped plan and organize it!!

the only one. I didn't go to my prom ( wanted too). I was on co-op work experience program and only in school once every two weeks. The one week I was there no ticket on sale , the next time I was there it was the last day of ticket sales and I didn't have that kind of cash on me. Most of my close friends and my boyfriend had graduated the pervious year so no one to by me a ticket. Oh well I guess I will have to live the experience through my DD's .

I didn't go either. To this day, I have not regretted not going. To some people it's a very important thing, I'm just not one of those people.

I did not go either! My friends and I got together and had a party at my brothers house.

I went to my Jr. prom with a friend. I didn't go my Sr. year.

I didn't go to any prom ever....did not get invited, no stag women went then without dates.

We had a party in my parents cellar, my friends who did not go and none of my close friends went..glad now we did not actually...

I didn't go to either of my proms (Jr. or Sr.) for the same reasons as AMClvsMKY. I just wasn't one of those people that placed high importantance on proms.

I agree with all of the above.......couldn't be bothered going. I really had no interest in it. I also haven't been to a reunion yet either.....(and there have been quite a few lol)...big waste of time and money. I keep in touch with the people I wanted to keep in touch with and have a better time going to dinner with a few close friends or having them over for a dinner party etc.

I didn't go either. DH said he did not go either to his prom. Different cities, different years.

I never went to the prom. Was never asked. I wasn't in a popular social group, so I knew I would never go. I never paid any attention to it. I mowed the lawn instead that night.

Never regretted not going, either!

Went to Jr. prom. Didn't go to Sr. Prom. I went to Catholic high school that happened to be all girls. Didn't feel like I missed a thing.

Senior year my boyfriend broke up with me, so one of my best friends took me on an un-prom un-date. We went dancing and had one of the best nights I remember from high school years. Nope, not sad at all that I missed that!

I didn't go. I was asked my Senior Year but I don't dance and felt like a dork, so I said no.

I will admit that that is the one thing I wish I had done. I have had so much fun with my own daughter, finding the right dress, peering through magazines for hairstyle ideas. I take way too many photos, but she and her BF are great sports about it.
