I think Wakefield's answer to Chloe's "Why are you doing this?" is important...He said something like "I knew a woman like you...will your boyfriend die for you?"

It makes me think it's Jimmy...Wakefield kills because Abby's mom leaves him and then Jimmy kills when Abby comes back after leaving him? Maybe Jimmy doesn't even know he's Wakefield's kid, but her coming back sparked his daddy's jeans and Wakefield's been cleaning up his messes?

Sounds sort of stupid...but I'll hate it if it is Jimmy.

Finally got caught up with all the DVRd episodes of this show. Can't wait to watch the final episode and see what all the connections are.


I was yelling at the TV too during the last episode! How hard is it to shoot the guy?

No Not JIMMY I will cry and swear off TV He said he almost died for a woman like her...dont know if that means someone rich or someone high maintence which is why I though Shae was his daughter because of that statment and the way he was with her daughter since that would make her his granddaughter but then again if her sister is his daughter (Henrys future wife) then that would still make Madison his granddaughter so hey she could be his daughter too

Im still trying to figure out how all this relates to Abby. I mean Henrys brother said it was all about her then Wakefield tells her what you dont know....cant figure out how she fits into everything (especially since she isnt Johns kid). I am beginning to agree that John only killed the Sheriff (then the 2 in the bar obviously) and maybe the hotel owner but I think the "kid" is doing all the other killings. 2 week wait...that just aint right

We know that Wakefield killed Mills, Shane, Nikki, Cal, Chloe, probably Deputy Lillis and probably Maggie.

what happened to the state police helicopter?

also. it is daylight again. WHY are they not beating on every house in the town to see who is around? I mean c'mon that is so not feasable, the mainland KNEW the group of people came back on the ferry because of the killings, wouldn't someone be trying to find out what is keeping the others?
just because the phones & such were not reliable, I do not buy the answer no one would worry.. they already KNOW there is a problem on the island.
the bar used to be hopping previous to newest killing there, people just wouldn't stay home. & during the day,, aren't there fishermen checking on their boats> ? & the BIG explosion?
good show but way too many holes in it.

The sheriff evacuated the island when all the bodies started popping up. That included the locals. Shane was in jail, so he missed the boat. Why Jimmy, Maggie and Nikki stayed, I don't know....but there is a reason the island is a ghost town..a boat took everyone to the mainland.

Yep two hours tonight. 48 Hours Mystery will air before. I read the spoilers and I was disappointed but I will still be getting the series on DVD.

A show that sounds a bit similar to Harper's Island is Happy Town which will be on ABC this fall.

I couldn't stand it, I had to look. I googled and found out who the killer is and who gets killed. I have to gloat to dh, since I called it in like the 3rd or 4th episode.

thanks! i'm going to look it up! i LOVED harper's island once it got going-the first 3-4 episodes were way too slow and vague.

One thing I don't understand is that I read that Harper's Island has not been renewed for the fall. How on earth could they renew it once half the cast is killed off and they solved a murder? Would the few survivors come back to Harpers Island for another wedding and another relative of Wakefields shows up and starts killing them?
