Usually at the end they show the crowd schmoozing with each other. They show us a chandelier? Not very exciting.

I adore Ricky Gervais and his extraordinarily dry sense of humor. Some people don't get him or find his style funny. It's okay. I think Jeff Dunham is a racist tool bag but I know plenty of folks who think he's the funniest thing EVER.

I'm sure Stephen Merchant was helping to write many of his jokes again this year. Those two....funny dudes!

DH and I watched a documentary not long ago that essentially decloaked the HFPA as a gigantic scam of sorts. Just a bunch of people with zero cred looking for a way to get cozy with celebrities. I'll ask him to find the name of the documentary. It was really good.
