It's award show season! My favorite time of year on the DIS.

Lots of dresses to talk about.

Some speeches to laugh at , cry or be forced to sit through.
And awards handed out.

Ricky Gervais is hosting again! This should be. . . interesting!

Load up on munchies & drinks, wine & booze welcome. Including the Red Carpet, it's 4-5 hours!


Start times:
East Coast (EST):
The Red Carpet starts at 7PM (EST) on NBC.
The Red Carpet starts at 6PM (EST) on E!

The Award Show starts at 8PM (EST) on NBC.


West Coast (PST):
The Red Carpet starts at 4PM (PST)on NBC.
The Red Carpet starts at 3PM (PST) on E!

The Award Show starts at 5PM (PST) on NBC.


Tonight is a NO SPELLING POLICE THREAD!
The Spelling Police will be off duty and possibly slurring their own typing by the end of the evening. Typos allowed!

A little heads up for newbies: The Red Carpet segment goes really quickly on this thread. People are typing like crazy all at the same time, seeing different dresses on 2 different channels. (On E! and NBC.)

If you post something or ask a question and it seems to get ignored. You are NOT being ignored. Everyone is just watching, typing & posting so quickly before the dress goes off the screen. We do most of the reading, scrolling back & posting back to each other' comments during the COMMERCIALS! Your posts will get a response then.

Once the show starts, it slows down to a more comfortable pace. Just hang in with us! It's going to be a great evening. And with Ricky Gervais hosting, it might be quite eventful!

Summer school holidays here.....so no need to run out. And I've checked. He's still on holidays for the SAGS as well.

Thanks. I love these threads. It wouldn't be as much fun watching alone. Especially during those moments.
