The Official GLEE thread

Did any of you hear the rumor that not only is someone dying in tomorrow night's episode but that someone else will die by the end of the finale? I think, if true, that is two too many. I wonder who they will be?

I did, but I think maybe it's getting confused and only one?

btw - my money for the death is Karofsky. Honestly, the character has sort of run it's course. It would also highlight the high rate of suicide among gay teenagers.

I just don't think the person mentioned about is that integral and from the cast interviews it seems like the episodes were really hard on them.

I haven't heard anything about a 2nd death, just the one in tomorrow's episode. I highly doubt they'll kill Karofsky off, the producers have already said that his story line is supposed to end "happily" and they had no intention of Karofsky committing suicide.

Well dang! I should've played the lottery. Loved the show, really, really done well.

WOW! That was amazing, as soon as they started singing at the funeral the tears started flowing. I couldn't have guessed that's who the death was going to be, maybe the rumor I read will come true next week? And did you notice Diana Argon's (Quinn) hair in the promos for next week, she chopped it off, it looks adorable! I can't wait for next week and then Glee Live the week after that! :cool1:

OMG, I was pretty much sniffling from the second she said she died (actually from the second Becky asked to join the Glee club).
Beautiful, amazing, wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then when they started singing, I was a complete mess.

And Lea Michele and Streisand = magic!!!

I saw Diana Agrons hair last week, internet headline, Diana Agron chops off her hair LOL. I guess that wasnt' a real time news story, since it's clearly been off for at least several weeks LOL.

I was sobbing when they sang "Pure Imagination" so well done. Tonight's show as a whole was amazing and I can't wait for next week.

Great show. I wept all through the funeral and Sue dealing with her sister (just put down one of my horses today so I've been an emotional wreck to start with).

Can't wait for next week. My prediction is Will's ex-wife dies/kills herself.

awwwwww Jennasis...SO sorry to hear about your horse  you areprobably right on with Will's ex, but I hope not. I like Glee because I don;t have to deal with dark moments so much.

Beautifully done, but I am sad & a little ticked that they really truly killed a beloved character. The scenes w/ Sue & Jean were always a treat, but Sue reading to Jean was one of the most touching and well-done television I have ever seen.

I think the other rumor about another character dying was just a really good job of misleading by the producers & I am glad about that. I saw no reason to kill that character either. Although I would have preferred that outcome to this.

Sue w/o her tether is a character they're going to have to be much more careful with.

I agree... sue's realtionship with her sister is what kept her character human....
I wish they had not killed off jean... but now maybe Becky will have more of a role next year...

Thank goodness Karofsky killing himself would be a huge mistake!!! Totally out of the tone of the show ...

I think that is exactly what they set up...Sue planning to lobby for better funding/benefits etc., and then bringing Becky back as Team Captain( or manager, I forget) and the hug..Becky is going to be Sue's tether now, and it apears it will be a healthy relationship now, not just a *gopher/spy for me* one

Good episode.

Sue Sylvester was becoming a caricature. It was good to see her softer, emotional side, but I am really going to miss Jean. :sad1:

I wish Carol Burnett had appeared in at the funeral, and she and Sue could have some closure on their relationship with each other and with Jean.

I don't think there will be another death. I think that was it.

Jesse is such a jerk. I hate his poop-eating smirk. I think he is up to no-good.

I am not so sure this was THE death. Entertainment Tonight was doing a Glee story last week, and they said, the season finale, in NYC will end with a death. And Rachel and Kurt are singing For Good, which is a farewell song, a very beautiful, make me cry, farewell song.

Not sure why they brought Jesse back, just to make him a jerk! I love Jonathan Groff, and love his voice, but even I couldn't stand him last night.

do you think Dianna Agron is looking to leave for films?

they seem to be setting her character up for...something (!?) next episode.

or maybe the rumors about Morrison leaving are really true?

next week should be interesting.

Loved last night's episode. Loved when they sang 'Pure Imagination' It was done beautifully. So sad. :( I love the Jean/Sue scenes.

Quinn is pathetic. I'm sick of her character and at this point would not care if Dianna Agron wanted to leave the show. Who gets broken up with and says 'no, we'll be together until you get over Rachel?' Um, ok, who wants to be someone's second choice? Just wrap up this love triangle already.

I wish they had never brought Jesse back. Ugh.

I haven't heard anything about the Matt Morrison rumors but I'm super excited he's touring with NKOTBSB this summer.

Agron is pretty, but I think others are closer to the big screen than she is.

Ryan Murphy made it clear that the cast will change over time - he won't have 30 year old high school seniors. I don't know if he'll live up to that or not, but if he does, expect to see a lot of departures after next year. (Remember, this year, Rachel, Finn, etc., went to their Junior prom.)

Which is awfully funny, since Cory Monteith is what? 27? 28? :lmao:Most of them are in their mid-20's (except for Chris Colfer).

30 is really the furthest you could push it, for actors playing high school students.
