The Official GLEE thread

ROFL!!

Great post. I love Brittany. Hilarious and a great dancer.

Fun fact: Heather Morris (Brittany) was a back up dancer for Beyonce prior to Glee.

Fab dancer. No wonder, I'd guess Beyonce chooses only the best she can find. I was pretty amazed and I wonder why she hasn't done any dancing in the past.

This may be my favorite episode ever for the reason that we've gotten TWO Amber songs tonight!

Please tell me I am not the only one who bawled through most of tonight's episode!!
:)

Can someone please tell me what happened to Quinn's baby?

I watching last season but missed maybe the last 3 episodes.. and missed the first 2 this season...just wondering!

I love Kurt and Sue even more after this episode! They are my favorites :goodvibes I am probably in the minority, but Rachel and Finn need to go away. They just get more and more unbearable lol.

I bawled through this episode.....

I think this was one of, if not the best episode of Glee ever!

She gave birth on the last episode of the season (during Regionals). It was a girl, and they named her Beth. Rachel's biological mother, the director of Vocal Adreneline (Edina Menzel), adopted her.

Loved tonight's episodes and the songs - esp Mercedes "I Look to You". Gave me goosebumps!

Why is Finn so stupid this year?

I thought Kurt was fantastic tonight.

His song was great!

I kid you not, my sister and I have tickets to the Sound of Music Sing-along in two weeks! I laughed out loud when Kurt mentioned it!!

This episode was absolutely fantastic! The music was great and so was the story and emotion. I was on the verge of tears a few times. That Britney episode was awful!!

I'm getting sick of Finn too and I am NOT a fan of Rachel's bangs!

I'm also not liking Rachel/Finn together. I feel like I'm not rooting for Rachel this season. The writing is making her sort of unlikable. My opinion of Finn has also changed. Hopefully they are just setting them up for something better in upcoming episodes.

I really enjoyed the songs in this episode. My husband said this was one of the worst episodes (he loved the Britney one), but I like Glee when it gets emotional. Can't wait for "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", one of my faves as a kid.

Rachel has always been unlikeable. I think what's different this year is that her redeeming factors (such as her earnestness) aren't coming through as well. Also, I think last year she was painted very dowdy, and that helped mitigate her un-likability, while by contrast, this year, she's dressed in attractive clothing, more often, and indeed in some scenes is evoking the kind of attractiveness that has put her on glamor magazine covers, recently. That doesn't evoke sympathy, the way "unfortunate" attire choices did.

IMO this was the best episode so far this season! I'm also not liking the Finn/Rachel story line. They just seem like an odd couple, no chemistry. DH missed it so I'll get to watch it again with him(and cry again). DS16 and DD12 watched it with me, it lead to a very good discussion we had on God and spirituality.:goodvibes

Kurts version of I Wanna Hold Your Hand was just beautiful!! And Only the Good Die Young is one of my all time favorite songs!!!
I agree, Rachel is not as good as last year. I still think she has one of the most amazing voices around, but they need to put her character back to last years. And lose the bangs!!!
I too cannot wait for Don't Go Breaking My Heart. Next week looks like it will be fun!

I don't think that it is ever a good idea to "put a character back". We'd be complaining about how static and one-dimensional that she's become, if she didn't change over time. I think that they need to find a different path, though, for the character to travel.

I also cried through the whole episode. The kid (little Kurt) in the flashbacks while Kurt was singing - that had to be relation to him! It looked exactly like him. I loved, "I want to hold your hand."
