The Official GLEE thread

FYI, mohawk kid's name is Noah Puckerman aka Puck.

I loved last night's episode. I thought the ending scene with "Keep Holding On" was so perfect and emotional. And Sue had so many great lines one after the other- I couldn't stop laughing. I love how this show is so brilliant and unique.

Our basketball, soccer and baseball teams were all required by their coaches to wear shirts and ties for gamedays.

I meant the cheerleaders. :) Our football players wear their jerseys and the basketball players wear shirts and ties on gamedays. No soccer team. ;)

Cheerleaders wear their uniforms on gamedays. :)

I didn't understand that part, either. It isn't very realistic that a husband would never see his wife naked. :confused3

Thank you! I thought I was the only one. Also, a Dr. would never be conned into doing what that Dr. did. If people tried to blackmail him, it would make those people look even worse. The show definitely has to reveal the lies about the two pregnancies because way too many flaws in the story are beginning to be exposed.

I don't think there is a father on this planet (who was not away from his wife at war or something) who didn't feel his wife's bare stomach or see her naked while she is pregnant. It's a rather gaping flaw in the writing if you ask me..

Didn't one time when they were with the sister she made up something that he shouldn't touch her stomach for whatever reason? I think the story is that Will has never experienced a pregnancy before so he's going along with whatever his wife says but he's not happy about it. I agree it's not realistic, though.

Last night was my first time ever watching the show, so I have a bit of catching up to do.

Is Quinn really pregnant and just lying about the father? And Will's wife obviously isn't pregnant. Why is she lying about being pregnant?

I also found the part about the doctor lying not believable.

the whole show is a parody of sorts with many many aspects of various storylines not being realistic.

Quinn is pregnant and the spoof on that--is that she got pregnant in the hot tub with Finn when they were just making out and he couldn't...umm...control his thoughts. (like the story over the summer of a mom suing an Egyptian resort for her daughter becoming pregnant by stray sperm in a swimming pool). Totally could not happen--but a spoof and when I remembered the story over teh summer, it was just hilarious.

The real daddy was disclosed in the same episode to be Noah (football player/glee club member with mohawk). He's keeping quiet b/c Quinn doens't want him, she wants Finn.

The part that I wonder what will happen--is that Quinn is a month or two behind Will's Wife. I wonder what the spoof on that will be to get the two deliveries to correlate.

In the end, I think it will all explode, however--given the lack of reality in the rest of teh show, I think it unlikely for it to happen any time soon.

The question about Quinn was already answered but for Will and his wife Terri, they were having marriage problems and had been trying to get pregnant. So then Terri thought she was pregnant and told Will, but when she went to the doctor she found out she was having a hysterical pregnancy. But Will was so happy that they were having a baby so she decided to lie and fake the pregnancy. Then she found out Quinn was pregnant so she came up with a plan to secretly adopt Quinn's baby, who was ok to go along with it.

Guys, this show is a satire/spoof. You're all taking some of the story lines way to seriously. Of course cheerleaders don't walk around in their uniforms all day and it's doubtful most husbands would not be fooled a fake pregnancy, but that's what makes the show so funny. It's poking fun at all the school stereotypes and doing a great job of it too. I'm so glad my daughters told me about this show. I love it.

I realize this is satire; my question about cheerleaders was because this isn't the only show to show them that way.

Sue swing dancing was hilarious. Her suit was awful!

Loved that Emma sang but HATED the extreme close-ups.

So happy that Will's wife was NOT in this episode, so sick of her face and voice.

Not a fan of the performances tonight, except Emma's, would have liked more group songs.

Noah is HOT! (That's not creepy, is it? I'm only 28!)

I LOVE this show! I enjoy all the singing...doesn't matter which songs. It's just fun and it makes me smile. I think they are all really talented.

To previous poster, the actor that plays Noah is 27, so not creepy at all that you think he is hot!

This is my favorite show on TV right now. I can't wait for the CD of the music! I've watched every episode at least twice, and it just gets better every time, in my opinion. Love Glee. Just love it.

Whoo hoo! A Glee thread! :cool1:

Tonight's episode was great, but didn't have that many great songs. Sue had the best line I've ever heard though.
"If it's not on my desk by that time then I will go down to an animal shelter and get a kitten. Then you will fall in love with that kitten. One night, I'll break into your house and steal the kitten and punch you in the face."
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sue is my favorite character. I love her. That is the character I would want to be cast as. Playing her would just be so much fun!!

Sweet Caroline made me swoon!

So yeah, not creepy. (He's older than ME!)

"So...it didn't work out with Rod?"

:rotfl2:

...that entire story line had me rolling. But I kind of felt bad for Sue, for a moment. She just wants somebody to love her! She even learned to SWING! :rotfl:

LOVED the episode last night!!

I like that satire with the slushies. Also, I am so excited to see in the previews that the Quinn baby secret is going to come out.

It's really weird that we will have to get used to seeing Quinn outside of her "Cheerios" outfit. Sue's line from the show last night that RyeCrimsonMoon mentioned is the best quote from the show.

CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK!!!!

Mr. Shue singing the Thong Song to a lady in a wedding dress had me rolling! I adore this show!!
