The Official Gilmore Girls Thread

and hello, they are from CT, not FL. you'd think they'd have, oh, jackets. and Luke, who is a gourmet cook (and lives in New England), has never ever tasted lobster?

I too thought it was unbeliveable...

but I have been out the last few days jacket-less (its been in the high 40's low 50's) But I had a BIG sweatshirt on!!!

and it was weird that anyone on the east coast (especially the new england area) hadn't tried or had some type of Lobster ( unless they are allergic or don't eat shell fish of course ;) )

So glad there's a Gilmore Girls thread on here! Not sure why it never dawned on me to look for one here. I've been reading the wb.com's board and it's swamped with what appear to be less-than-kind children posting all about the show. Don't dare ask a question about the show or you'll get flamed like it's a hobby of their's.

I liked the VDay epsiode a lot. Does anyone think Lorelai knows the necklace wasn't originally from Luke but from Logan to Rory?

I've heard some spoilers regarding Rory & Logan and the wedding on June 3rd. I don't wanna ruin it for anyone on this public board, but PM me or let me know if i should share. I really don't know how legit this stuff is, but i got it from one of those spoilers websites and so far what has been said in the past has occurred.

Now Luke on the other hand really made me mad! He was being such a jerk the whole first half! :furious:

I read somewhere that the producers, the Palladinos (or a name something like that) are trying to make Luke less than perfect b/c his character was too perfect in the past. I'm getting a little annoyed that they are carrying out their relationship even longer...but at the same time it hopefully extends the show a bit. I bet it'll end after the 7th season next year.

Just finished watching this episode on tape.

I was so mad at Luke. He was being such a baby. It is too cold. The waves are too loud. The raccoon was noisy. Wah wah wah!
If I was Lor, I would have told him to quit being such a downer and ruining the weekend. I would have snapped on him!!

Glad to see he kind of got better at the end of the episode.

As soon as Aprils name is mentioned, Lor gets such a depressed look on her face.

Loved Logan and Rory this week! They are so cute. And Rory is getting so domestic! Too funny.
Logan was good this week, cute.
Then his jerk dad shows up and ruins everything. Poor Logan.

Can't wait until the next new one!

Ok, I missed the last new episode--I was saving a table at the Cantina de San Angel for Illuminations, it was pretty cold but one of the very best reasons for missing GG. :teeth:

BUT, I had my very own Lorelai moment yesterday. Picked up a paper on my way into the office and right on the front page was the announcement that the Bangles will be playing at a music festival here this summer! I'm so excited now & can't wait to buy tickets. :rotfl2: The only bad thing is that dd will be with her dad so I'll have to drag dh along.

That is NO excuse, Amy. I was on my HONEYMOON and dragged DH back to hotel at 8pm so we could watch GG. :lmao: No, seriously...it was a rerun that week, lucky for him! ;) :teeth:

:lmao: When I realized what night it was, I seriously considered heading back to the hotel. But I'd already committed so much time and energy to fighting people off my table, that I felt I had to stay. That and the fact that the girls were wandering around the park and were expecting me to still be sitting at that table!

Bumping for tonight...episode looks good...lots of stuff happening!

 for the new spoiler!

Good to have you back, MM!!

Hey all! PM me with your email address (so I can foward it) if you want a copy of this weeks GG's Newletter (GG Gossip). The title is "What's next for rory and logan?"

I Loved tonight's episode! I am happy for Lane!

Does anyone know if there is a new episode next week? There was no previews. I hope there is. :confused3

It looks like the June wedding could be Lane :)

With Lorelei helping Chris with Gigi and Luke not letting Lorelei be involved with April I am having my doubts that they will stay together.

I read somewhere that next weeks episode is a repeat, it's the one with Jess.

I read on the wb board that a new episode won't air til early April. Geez...

Good episode but can the writers make it any more obvious that they're slowing down the Luke/Lorelai relationship? My mom thinks Lorelai and Christopher are going to have an affair. Any one thinking this too? I'm thinking not.

The Logan relationship isn't really going anywhere; I wish they'd write his character off the show.

I don't think Lor & Chris will get back together. I do think that Rory should get back together with Dean. What do you think?

I really enjoyed last night's episode. I think my very favorite part was Gil & Brian singing Hollaback Girl. That was hysterical! :lmao:

I really don't want Lane to marry Zack. I think she could do so much better--she's beautiful and smart and he's just ...well, dumb. :) And he annoys me.

And what the heck was up with Lorelai and Gigi? Seriously, how many moms out there would allow a 3 year old to behave that way? It's not like she's had no experience with kids. Little kids that visit my house know that I'll pretty much let them do whatever they want as long as they're not hurting themselves or someone else. But I don't GIVE them permanent markers and tantrums will get you a time out. Although I've never had to give a time out to someone else's kids. :) But really, would you let a 3 yo act that way? I did love the new game she made up--a combination of Candyland, Battleship, (and something else)--War never tasted so good. :rotfl2:

And now I'm sure that Mal is done teeter tottering and hates Logan. :) I'm not real fond of him myself and I'm glad Rory is back with Paris. I really didn't like that she moved in with him so quickly.

And where the heck was Luke during this episode? Just a smidge at the beginning--although he did refer to Lorelai as "my fiance."

And now I'm sure that Mal is done teeter tottering and hates Logan.

Actually, I'm still teeter-tottering. :teeth: I don't want to say I feel sorry for him...I DON'T...but I think he's a guy who's never had feelings for anyone before and he was seriously figuring things out...besides...I kept waiting for him to say, "But we were on a BREAK!" :lmao: That Walker chick, though...evil.

Luke = man who doesn't want Lorelai to have anything to do with his daughter
Christopher = man who WANTS Lorelai's help and advice with his daughter

Hmmm...which way you think THIS is going to go?? :scratchin :scared: Although you all know I'm the black sheep in the group and I actually like Christopher. Especially with Luke being such a dork.

Re: Zach and Lane...didn't see that coming...thought they'd just get back together, not get married. DH said..."Bet Mrs Kim goes on a tirade now!" But I bet not...I bet she's happy about it...even though he isn't Korean.

I did think it was a good show, though. About time. And I'm glad Rory and Paris made up. :)

Darn it I missed the first half. I turned to the wrong station (GG reruns station inistead of WB) But what I did see was

Don't worry Mal, I like Chris too! I'm sorry, Luke is just driving me insanse lately.

I also think Rory is a little overreacting about Logan, I mean I thought they had totally broken up too! :confused3 And by the way she reacted, I don't really blame Logan for not telling her.

I'm just not a huge Christopher fan. I kind of get the impression that with half a chance--he'd try to get Lorelai to raise Gigi instead of him. I loved the comment he made last night along the lines of "How could a parent abandon their own child?" Umm....we don't know, Christopher, why don't YOU tell us how you did it to Rory?

I'm really ready for Luke to come back to his senses and start acting like himself again. I adore Luke--usually.
