I think Lorelai was trying to suss out how Rory felt about it, more than Logan. I don't think she likes him, and I think she's afraid this is more serious than she'd like it to be.

I hope I don't offend anyone who may have had this dress, but I thought it was perhaps the ugliest wedding dress I'd ever seen. It looked like a pre-schooler had glued cotton balls all over the bodice, and then doused it in sparkles. Ick. And she is NOT a veil kind of person...especially not one like that. JMHO.

Well...(Mal furiously backpedals)...I am sure you looked much better in it than she did. I think you are better able to carry off a dress like that. Perhaps it was the way she wore it that was not attractive...not the dress itself...

I didn't dislike the dress. But, it's definitely not one I would pick.

I didn't get to see last night's episode, I'm hoping to catch it tonight. I did like your comment about the veil, Mal. Remember when Lorelai was going to marry Max and made a veil out of the newspaper? I think she and Emily decided then that their heads were too big to wear a veil well. I think they discussed tiaras.

The dress looked pretty in the store just not on Lor. I really wish Luke would have said something to Lor about his daughter. I saw the preview for next week and it looks horrible. What a way for her to find out.

The dress made her look like she had a "roll" above the sash. And I've seen her in a bra in Bad Santa. There is nothing there to roll! She is SO skinny. Couldn't they have done some alterations so it fit? I rewound it to see if maybe I just imagined it, but it was making a roll. I'd be p'oed if I were her. Surely someone on the set saw it, too.

I hope you are not mad at me but everyone was just ragging on her dress....had to say something to my pal.

And, we all had to know that she was going to find out on her own about April. But, in the previews she says something to the effect of what else is he holding back? Um, hello. Christopher. All the times they get together and she never tells him. Or all the other things that she never tells him. Just another way for the writers to annoy us.

I completely agree about the dress. It was not attractive at all. It did make her look like she was chunkier than she is. I hope that is not the dress she ends up wearing. Maybe Paul Anka can make a mess of it.

As for Rory, I thought that her scene in the counselor's office was great! Some of the best acting I have seen from her. I don't really like any of the guys she's dated though, so why not bring back Marty. I liked him and I think he is quirky enough for her. Dean was too young, Jess too hardened, Logan too spoiled.

Can't wait until next week!

Yeah thats right, it was when the record producer was going to watch/hear them and Brian wrote the song when Lane mention to zach that he was always writing about other girls..... and the whole band just stared at him on stage when he was going off (oh he called that music-sorry).

I had forgotten about that.
