I can't find anything on there about Luke, but I have read other interviews that he doesn't get along with Lauren Graham in real life. Maybe that has something do with it?

Oh no! I hope that it isnt true that they dont get along in real life! That would make me so sad! They have such great on screen chemistry! I cant wait til tonight!
Im in school, and on Tuesdays I always go to a dance class at 530-7 then eat afterwards at a dinning hall with some girls from the class, but I have to hurry and be done and back in my dorm before 8. I have to walk up a MASSIVE hill to get here, Im getting pretty quick at it! hehe

Where did it say that " Luke" wouldn't be around....I can see that it will be Logan that won't be around for long. I think Lucki bunni has it right. When Logan ditches Rory what will she have then? She let this family just crush her self esteem... Can't wait to see what happens tonight. Sounds fun!

rory was funny at her garndma's get together thing..making little small talk and comments and saying hi to all the women.. she is just like her grandmother now.. maybe rory will finally understand why Lor, doesn't get involved with her parents..

I almost turned it off with 15 minutes left in the episode. This one seriously annoyed me. I wanted to smack Sookie, and normally I like her. Why the heck is she so obsessed with Lorelai's wedding????? Back off, woman.

And Rory...I'm not even going there. I told SO last night, hopefully someday she'll stumble across the hole she left her brain in.

And the previews for last week REALLY steamed me. When Rich says to Em "It's true, everything Lorelai told us is true". Well, no ****, Sherlock. Why on earth would she have come running to you for help unless it was true? You know she can't stand asking you for help. So why would she make it up?

And by the way...Em and Rich hated Dean because he wasn't as smart as Rory, they hated Jess because he was a "hoodlum", but they love the guy whose influence caused her to STEAL A YACHT???

I am already over this season, and it's only 4 episodes in.

I'm also pretty much over this season also. What's up with the Gilmore's? It's always been my favorite show. Now, not so much. I think a lot has to do with rift between Rory & her Mom. The show just doesn't have the punch it usually has.

I like this season. I don't think any Mother and Daughter has the perfect relationship. It's about time they had a disagreement.

The only problem is, as this season is so eloquently pointing out, is that the banter between Lorelai and Rory is essential to the show. Without it, everything just falls kind of flat. Just MHO, anyway.

I agree the banter between them was a very important part of the show (and why I loved watching it) after last night, not so sure I will be sure to catch it-- maybe record for later, but not so sure to clear an hour on tuesdays for it anymore.

Yeah, not really feelin' this season. But, I agree, all mothers and daughters go through some rough patches but, this is television. It's fantasy and they should have just let us have the fantasy. Your right, though, it just isn't the same without the banter back and forth.

The spoiler didn't have anything about Luke leaving...someone else posted that...

They better make up soon, or my opinion is they're going to lose viewers. Either from boredom or blood pressure spikes. SO laughed at me because I got so worked up at the preview for next week.

my perdiction (I have not read any spoliers) is -- after watching the preview for next week, that Em and Rich will tell Lor that she was right, and then the three of them will get on rory to get her act together!!! but thats my oppinion.

I've just read the last page of this thread but am wondering why they have decided to change Rory's character so much--hey, I know she's in love with Logan but the whole storyline with her is just really not what I would expect from Rory after watching the show from the beginning. She was sucha strong willed character who really didn't care too much what others thought now all of a sudden she "caves" because of one man's opinion???!!!! Just makes no sense!

I really hope they don't mess up the Luke and Lorelei relationship--I hate when they do that with shows!

I think Logan is cute, but he is bad for Rory. She needs to cut him loose. I've heard rumors that Jess is coming back & will fly right this time, but I have heard that before, didn't happen. I don't like him for her either, though. Even if he is her real-life boyfriend.

I hope Em & Richard will back Lorelai soon--I was so mad at them for doing that to her.

Does anyone else fall asleep during the band's parts of the episodes? I am so not into ANY OF THEM.
