Warning. The following is just my opinion.....
Wow, A & D SP drove every story line in this show into the ground at the end of the season. Seems like they just tried to do everything they wanted to do in the next 1.5 seasons in a couple of lonely episodes just to make sure it happened. It feels like they rushed everything and didn't develop the stories enough (except for all the troubador scenes in the last episode, overkill). Lane and Zach got married in an awful hurry and I, for one, would have liked to have seen the aftermath of Lane's many weddings. And I really like Paris, they should have showed some more of the "auxiliary chacters" in the past few episodes. And the Rory/Logan story wasn't left at much of a cliff hanger. They should have showed him more undecided about going/not going to London or something. Oh, and throwing Lorelai into bed with Christopher, I'm pretty sure they had no intention of Luke and Lorelai ever getting married! It just felt like they were trying to push the show in the direction they wanted it to go. If they wanted to have input in how the show ended they should have stuck around for season 7. I'm pretty sure the show is ruined anyway because of this whole April thing but maybe there is some hope with this new writer. Hopefully he'll turn it around and make a great final season with more Rory/Lorelai interaction.
The preceeding was "just my opinion."
