I was happy with the ending...I LOVE Christopher and Lorelai together! I think they have a really deep connection that they don't even really understand or acknowledge. They were meant to be together!

I used to think I was a L&L supporter, but I'm kind of enjoying the rollercoaster of her picking between Chris and Luke. Of course in the end, I want her to have Luke for sure.

BUT...in regards to the quote above, Lorelai's face at the end when Chris got into bed with her sure didn't look like she was happy to be with him. I think the only strong connection they have is that they dated as kids and had a kid together. There's some saying that's along the lines of, "the older you get, the better it is to have people around you who knew you when you were young." I totally botched that quote, so someone help me out if you know it, but anyway, think about...we're all a bit fonder of friendships from the past, from childhood than maybe we are as adults. Just an idea...

But then why did they have her in the car saying that she actually loved Luke and that he was a strong man and he got her, blah, blah, blah. Hopefully the new writer can make more sense of it that us.

I agree, Stacey--she said that she had thought about marriage with Christopher but that was because her parents thought she should do it. And that the only person she'd ever really loved was Luke. And, well, her face when she woke up in Chris's bed pretty much said that that was NOT where she wanted to be.

purplebelle, I completely agree. The last shot of her looked like she was very unhappy with her "decision". I also agree that the only real connection she and Chris have is Rory. They we 16. They grew up and apart but she has a pull to him because of the past. But, the past is past.

I think we should be the writers for this show - we'd do it so much better!

OK, I know this sounds crazy, I truly think Chris and Lorelai are meant to be together. What if this little tryst leads to another little Rory??? Lorelai did say she wanted to have another baby.....

Click the little Icon that says "Image" when you scroll over it.

Paste the address in the bar that shows up.

Psst...I think Stacey picked an unflattering picture on purpose.

I think that's my problem with Chris--I don't find him very attractive myself. The character of Luke has a lot more qualities in common with DH, too. DH is, of course, much more evolved relationship-wise than Luke--but the way Luke interacts with Rory reminds me of DH with Caitie.
