OMG.. The STAVROS Resurrection... was that totally off the wall or what... I thought one of the writers from DOL had ventured onto the GH set...

Anybody else remember when Lucy Coe was bad.. I mean rrrrreeeeealllly evil?
Lynn Herring does Lucy so well that her transfromation from villian to hero was believable.... not to mention funny. Oh the days of Scott and Lucy!
Scott and Luke! now those people brought some laughter into Port Chuckles.

Oh yeah, mamajoan! Lucy sure has run the gamit hasn't she? And you're right...Lynn Herring really does do Lucy well. I even loved her when she was evil! I was so hoping they'd bring her back when they shut down "Port Charles".

Are there any other long-time GH fans (like ones around 1979, when AJ was born) who find this current "favorite son" among the Quartermaines somewhat ironic. Back when AJ was first born, Alan was a little resentful because he thought it might be Rick Webber's child (the fact that Monica, while she was in labor, said "It's Rick's baby" didn't help). And then since Jason's biological mother is Alan's former mistress (what was her name, Susan Moore?), Monica wouldn't accept him initially (I still wonder what changed her mind). So, 20 years ago, Alan disliked AJ and then Monica disliked Jason. Now it's just the opposite-ironic, huh?

I was watching back then..infact that is when I first started waching GH. The whole "Luke and Laura on the run" that summer..now that was a show!

I hope some of the spoilers are true...if so, it seems there is bit more action..and a little less draging things out. About time.

I can't believe how Lynn & the writers transformed her. Remember when she was like a librarian or something, but she was really bad. That was great. I'll never forget her coming down the steps at the Q mansion for her wedding to Alan with that fire engine red dress & gigantic hat!

I have to say that I am pleased with both the Liz/Lucky reunion & Sam/Jason's relationship. I hope both can continue to build strong relationships without something stupid trying to break them up right away. I'd like to watch at least a little happiness mixed in with the murders, shootouts, exploding cars, rapes, betrayals, etc.

I too am very pleased with the Liz/Lucky reunion. However, I was a bit shocked at how quickly they "got together". Wasn't expecting that out of a therapy session. But what the hec? Does anyone else think it might not have been the best idea to leave Baby Cameron with unstable Emily of all people? I haven't watched yesterday's show yet so I don't know how that works out.

Please bring back Lucy Coe and the Nurses Ball! That was my favorite time of year.

I too thought it was strange to leave Cameron with Emily but to be honest I don't think the writers are to smart half the time.

Do you think Jax and Courtney are really going to get married next month? I mean, if nobody discovers the AJ thing, it isn't legal anyway. If it is discovered, then the wedding will be put off.....

mamajoan's big news for the day!

My ds-17 was flying back from St. Louis yesterday. He flew on Southwest.
It was a two leg journey, STL-Phoenix, Phoenix-San Jose.


While he was waiting for his plane in STL. A man sat down to speak to him. Jake was carrying a Craver's case of White Castle Hamburgers.. a big conversation starter with many people.
Anyway, the man and Jake engaged in a nice conversation. Come to find out that this man was....
Shaun Benson... Dr. Steven Webber on GH!


on the Phoenix to San Jose flight... As Jake was waiting for this flight a family sat across from him. Jake thought he recognized the dad.. and then knew for sure when the man spoke. Jake spent his time waiting with the former 49'er Quarterback Hall of Famer STEVE YOUNG and family. ( I adore Steve Young)

As I picked Jake up at the airport, I got to see Mr. Young.. he is still a cutie!

So we have lived in CA. a long time.. never have seen anyone important..
and here is Jake on SOUTHWEST AIRLINES for pete's sake.. and he is rubbing elbows and exchanging pleasantries with really cool people!

Wow mamajoan, that is so cool. Me thinks both of his run-ins are cuties. We are going to a wedding in San Diego in July & flying into Anaheim (yep, gotta at least checkout Disneyland). Maybe we'll see someone famous. Hmmm, I think I'd like to see.....Steve Burton. Yep, that'd be OK with me.

Wow mamajoan that is so exciting! I love Steve Young and seeing any GH hottie is always amazing!! I am sooo jealous.

So Emily is back to wearing ugly sweats and boots again. Meanwhile on the other side of town Carly is wearing a short sleave v neck and a skirt. So is it Spring yet or what?

Is anyone else sad because today is Tamara Braun's last air day? I think it will take a long time to warm up to the next Carly.

I agree. I've always liked her! I didn't have the problem of OldCarly NewCarly like some because that occurred during a period I wasn't watching. It's going to be tough to see someone "mourning/desperate to find" Michael who has never really "seen" him.

I'm really sorry to see her go.

I have to agree, I'll miss her and wish her the best. I watched both the old and new Carly and each bought something to the role. I think it was almost mean of the GH people to so work Tamara at the end, mean to her and mean to us. They should have given everyone a break before giving us a new-new Carly.

Yeah - I was a bit shocked to read that the new one will be here already on Monday! Tamara told someone (magazine?? talk show??) that she walks into a room on Friday & the new Carly walks out of the room on Monday.

That's going to be hard to deal with given the current storyline!
