Reese did look preggers. I think it was just that weird bow on the front of that black shirt she wore the other day, but who knows? Maybe the actress that plays her is pregnant in real life, or maybe it was just the clothes.

Maxie has been recast. I'll miss (well, I have been missing) Robyn Richards, but I think Kirsten Storms is really good. I hope we'll see more Felicia now.

Kirsten Storms, (Belle, DOOL), is replacing Robyn Richards,
in the role of Maxie Jones, Felicia's daughter and Georgie's older sister.
Kirsten says she has, "always been a huge fan of GH. I'm thrilled to be
working on a show with a great cast and quality writing, especially
for the younger characters...."
Kirsten shows up as Maxie in late May. Maxie will have a dilemma
on her hands that impacts those around her.

Oh, I loved Kristin Storms on DOOL, I am excited she will be coming to GH. I wonder why she left DOOL in the first place if she is landing on another soap so quickly.

I do hope to see more of Maxie and Felicia on the show. Georgie needs her family back on!

I read in SID that Kirsten had contacted DOOL about returning & they said "no thanks". That new Belle is awful, IMHO. I'm glad GH snappped her up, I really like her.

Didn't Kristin also do some Disney Films? I'm thinking ABC is owned by Disney, I bet once she let them know she was available she got a quick call to come in and talk.

Yeah - Kristin was Zenon in a 2 made for TV movies. I can't remember if she did any others, though.

What do you guys think of the 'Alexsis" character? I admire the actresses portrayl ....however I think this revisiting of the same paranoia..and desperation regarding the daughter Christina is getting a bit repetitive.
They have her as nothing but a bumbling, rambling nut...there was a time when she was portrayed as smart and savy. I thought with the entire relationship with Rick..they were trying to soften her a bit..and I think it worked..but now I'm begining to think these writers are running out of material revisiting some of the same old stuff.

Alexis used to be a very smart independent woman. Now she's neurotic and paranoid!

The writers at GH keep using the same storyline over and over and over again, playing us all for fools, because we keep watching it!

I must say, this is the first time I think the writers have let Sonny really look mean. In the last couple of days he has turned a corner, from being depressed and bored looking to almost insanely wicked! I'm liking it for a change!

Blondie I agree with you 100% re Alexis. But to be honest, they have done that with all the GH Females. It's all about Sonny and Jason. I'm so tired of it.

I really dislike the character of Sunny. I can no longer watch it nor do I care what he does.

Thinking the same thing about the story lines...keep the same...repeating same old stories..and then they throw the teenage stuff in...no offense to any teens who watch..but frankly if I want teenage drama...I can talk to my kids!

Praise the Lord ...today Courtney finally told Jax the truth...could it be because this story line was just tooooo unbearable to watch?

Oh..and lets not forget...Luke is on a "vacation" again. I wish they would use some of the original characters more. Can we give Mac a love interest...and get him out of the police precinct...and Bobbie too...seems a waste of talent to me. It has become the Sonny and Jason show.

This whole storyline with Micheal and AJ is just so stupid!!! We all know how tricky Micheal is, don't you think he would call Jason or Courtney or even Mike for that matter. I mean, give me a break. Micheal knows that AJ is a creep. EVERYBODY has told him not to trust him. Just so stupid.

I too am so glad that the whole Courtney/Racheal thing is out in the open. Maybe they can move on now.

I've watched GH off & on since I was in high school & it was in black & white. At times, I get confused over the history - meaning do I remember incorrectly or have the writers simply revised history. I'm hoping someone else can clarify something for me.

I thought that AJ was Alan & Monica's son and Jason was Alan's son as a result of an affair. I could have sworn that I remember a storyline where Monica had serious trouble accepting him. Since AJ was "killed" Alan has acted as though Jason was Monica's son from an affair rather than the other way around.

I thought I just remembered incorrectly until I actually watched one of those SoapNet "family tree" commercials this morning. In it they stated that Jason was Alan's son.

Is this correct? If so, does anyone have a clue as to why Monica seems to have such a strong connection with him but Alan seems to hate him? (other than the whole mobster thing)

My recollection of it all is that Jason is the product of an affair between Alan and....what was her name...Susan something?

A.J. is Monica and Alan's son together.

They favored Jason more because as A.J. put it, he was the "golden child" the son who always got good grades and wanted to follow in his parent's footsteps and become a doctor until A.J. while drunk got in an accident while Jason was in the car w/him and Jason suffered brain damage as a result. Ever since they've blamed A.J. for that, etc etc etc.

Is that right, LOL?

Okay, out of curiosity, I "googled" it. Here's what I found....so I stand corrected.


"Doctor Alan Quartermaine has been on General Hospital for over twenty years. The focal point of his existence has been his wife Monica. Monica married Alan, but had an affair with an earlier love, Rick Webber. Alan was wildly jealous and attempted to kill the lovers... a few times, but he usually only managed to land himself in the hospital. He reinjured his hand at this time, making surgery out of his reach as a career option. Monica became pregnant, with Rick's child she thought. She was wrong. Eventually the child, A.J., was proved to be Alan's. She and Alan stayed married, but Alan had an affair with Susan Moore, which resulted in Jason. After Susan's death Monica accepted Jason as her son, but the Quartermaine marriage continued to be on shaky ground. Lucy seduced Alan away and into a brief marriage, which ended after her miscarriage. Monica had more affairs. Alan had more affairs. The relationship stabilized somewhat as Alan faithfully supported his wife during a bout with Breast Cancer. Monica recovered and the two of them adopted the daughter of her friend who had died of cancer. Nevertheless Monica had another affair, with the slimy Dorman. Alan forgave her and everything is more or less back to normal in their relationship."
