Did anyone watch yesterday (Friday)? I was thinking that when Sonny and Carly finally met she would be released but no! How long do you think she'll be stuck on the boat?

I think it'll be awhile before Carly gets off the boat. Alcazar was going to start teaching her backgammon to pass the time.

The last scenes were Sonny throwing Ric down the stairs trying to kill him and when it didn't work the first time, Sonny told him to get up because he was going to throw him down the stairs again. Who is going to save Ric?

Nikolas confessed his love to Emily and she to him, but then they decided they could never declare their love to the world, because it would hurt too many people. Hmmm...where have I heard this before? Enter Zander who ended up asking Emily to marry him.
Nikolas went back home to lick his wounds and Stefan changed Lydia's grandfather's papers to say they need to marry by the end of next week. I really can't stand this new Lydia. I see nothing attractive about her.

Anyways, hope that helps bring you up-to-date a little.

Can I just say how awesome Tyler Christopher (Nicholas) was yesterday! Excellent acting....how could you not want to throw your arms around him and love him forever! The whole scene with Emily was Emmy material, right down to the tears! UGH!

Oh yes, I agree wholeheartedly. I have always loved him as Nikolas. He carries himself so well!

I really like this new Emily also. I can't wait to see more scenes between the two of them.

Any news on when Jax is coming back?? Maybe he can make a deal with Alcazar to bring Carly home. Wouldn't that be a twist?? Just kidding, I really don't think that will happen.

GH is fortunate to have an abundance of great actors! Tyler Christopher has been Amazing in his scenes with Emily!! The "new" Emily has brought out the best in both Chad Brannnon and Tyler Christopher....
I want Emily to be with NiK.. but then when Zander enters the scene my heart is breaking for him. AIN'T LOVE GRAND??!!

Rick Hearst has "Ric" horrifying me one minute and then he has "Ric" pulling at my heart strings the next.

Ned and Skye.. better give Christina back to her mother "Alexis" pretty darn soon. I have always thought Ned to be a good guy.. with a few quirky Quartermain twists.. but HE KNOWS he is not Christina's father for pete's sake!!

I have missed seeing Dillon the past few days.. I enjoy his scenes with Georgie, Ned and Edward.

Are the PTB considering bringing Felicia back from Texas?
Maxie needs a good whack on her bottom! but then Maxie is acting out like many teen age girls.
I think Mac has totally lost his grip on reality when he commented to Georgie " you should be more like your sister" HOLY COW.. Mac..OPEN YOUR EYES!!

also.. I am hoping that they recast Lydia again ... keep her a red head or brunette.... no more blondes for right now .. I don't miss "Summer" in the least

Agreed! When he was in "the room" and he was telling Liz how she'd brought out the best in him and how good she was etc, she said she could almost believe him and I thought....Me too! Lol. He's such a villain one minute and the next minute has such a sweet, vulnerable little boy quality.

I think both he and the new Emily and Nikolas should be nominated for some acting award the next time there are the soap digest awards or emmy's.

I'm with you! I like Ned's character and still like him and Alexis together. But TPTB have his character all messed up right now. Imo. He usually ends up doing the right thing. Let's hope he does now too. And for heaven's sake.....dump Skye!! I don't know who they should pair her with, but not him.

Oh well, gives us something to talk about, right.

Ok you guys may think I am crazy (blame it on the prgenancy)but, I am starting to like the new Lydia. I liked the way she was with Lucky in the hospital yesterday. I don't know what she did differently, but she seemed to soften a little bit. Maybe it was because she had on more clothes and I didn't have to see how skinny she is. That's another topic in itself. I also think they may have darkened her hair a little bit too. It doesn't look as red.

I loved those scenes that involved Zander, Em, and Nicholas yesterday. Chad did a great job socking it to Em after he caught Em and Nicholas kissing.

Wonder how long it's going to take Courtney to tell Jason she's pregnant or for him to figure it out?

His inappropriate comments about Kathy Brier (Marcy, OLTL):"Marcy came onto the show last fall and is played by Kathy Brier, a marvelous actress, who is now going into Hairspray on Broadway. She has an incredible voice and is not beautiful, is overweight."

The day when men could make these comments outright has passed.

The subsequent order to change the offending comment, telling SoapCity to change the wording of the quote to state that Brier has "a beautiful voice," and then churning out e-mails stating that he "was misquoted."

YAY a GH thread!!!

I've watched GH since I was probably 7 or 8 yrs old (26 now). However...I don't really have the time now a days to sit down each day and watch the whole show....so I catch all the updates on the weekends when I can

Can someone tell me why Alcazar isn't dead?? I thought Brenda or someone else had killed him...but then he was on the show last week....so I totally missed something in the storyline.

As for what he said about that OLTL actress; he should be tared and feathered. What a idiot he is. I hope he gets his one day. She's a wonderful actress and I enjoy watching her. In fact, I enjoy her so much I may even go see her on broadway!

Truth be told, I'm not sure. However, OLTL is filmed in NYC and the show is on broadway. If she wanted to she could easily fit both into her scheulde. She'll probably be a little tired after awhile though.
