But there really are no gripping stories right now. Tracy is funny. We'll see what happens with Logan and Lulu. But get Maxie out of that. I loved being home (maternity leave) for the hotel/24-like explosion story. Let's hear it for Feb. sweeps. But this summer......boring......

Well, I guess since Sonny and Kate talked about being "glad that they waited", Spinelli must not be their love child from the past. So...anybody got any other ideas? What about Luke as Spinelli's father? Could he and Holly have had a "moment" and produced a baby years ago, or someone else around that time, or maybe Robert, and then he and Robin would be siblings. It would be interesting if he and Lulu were siblings since he has been so taken with her.

Jerry discovers the truth about Irina
Carly is shocked when she learns what Jax did to protect her.
Carly and Jax are in for a suprise.
Jerry is devestated by Irina's betrayal but Jax's makes in clear he can no longer turn to him.
LIZ/LUCKY/JASON
Liz lies to Lucky when confronted about Jake's paternity.
Lucky walks away but returns later on and agrees to work on their marriage providing Liz AGREES to end any and all further contact between her, Jake and Jason.
Liz briefly consults Jason, while torn, Jason tells her to do anything to save her marriage. Liz goes back to Lucky and agrees.
Liz attempt to warn Sam off, but Sam makes it perfectly clear that Liz has no room to talk about staying away from other women's men.
Amelia advises Liz to watch out for Sam.
SAM
Sam is not done with her plans of revenge by a longshot.
Sam approaches Lucky and engages him to share his feelings about Liz's lies over Jason.
Knowing that she's got Liz and Jason in between a rock and hard place, she sets out to make sure Liz loses Lucky for good.
"TEENS"
Seeing LuLu with Cooper makes Maxie more determined to get Logan to follow through with his plans.
Logan admits to LuLu the truth about why Cody is after him.
LuLu and Logan make love.
Logan attempts to reverse the damage done by his and Maxie's plan before it's too late.
Spinelli tells Georgie that LuLu has forsaken him for the unworthy one. Georgie lends a sympathetic ear.

*Mr. Guza is looking to the future. Word has it , he's got the entire Fall Arc planned out. He's been working on it since the beginning of Summer. So to say that most of the summer storylines have been mainly filler seem to be accurate.


Carly and Jax are getting a baby soon. No word on if the pregnancy goes full term. Carly is pregnant throughout fall. There is a miscarriage scare and a even bigger fallout between Jerry and Jax.

The mob storyline is front and center. A name actor has been cast as Trevor. The offical announcment should come out within a few weeks.
It's not revealed immediately the connection between Trevor and Sonny's problems. Ric will know about it though. Several Characters are pulled into this storyline in one way or another.

Emily and Nikolas will be discussing remarrying. But with Jerry's hold over them, it really mucks up the works. More suprises are around the corner.

No offical word on who Jerry will be paired with . However, it seems likely that Alexis and Jerry are the storyline. Two storylines keep them tied together and the angst surrounding Alexis continuing to associate with Jerry continues.

Sam continues to grow bolder as she desires revenge against those who have hurt her. She makes it her goal to leave Liz and Jason with nothing.
Liz, will have no man to turn to. And Jason will never be able to claim his son.
Sam continues to manipulate but also bond with Lucky.

Liz and Lucky's marriage remains strained until Lucky finds out about Jake in mid- late Oct.
This is when things go from bad to worse. Jake's paternity is mad public at the very worse time.

Patrick and Robin hit a huge rough patch when Robin tells Patrick she's decided that she wants to start a family. Patrick does not like Robin's new life plans at all. Robin finally admits she needs more from Patrick or nothing at all.

When LuLu discovers the truth behind Logan's deception. She cuts all ties with him but not before calling out Maxie. Maxie and Cooper also end up hitting a dead end.
However the two enemies find themselves on the same side when Cooper and Logan both end up in serious trouble this fall.

LuLu also faces Lucky about keeping silent about Jake.*

Lucky leaves the courtroom after Liz admits to the ONS on the set. He goes home and gets into it with Nikolas, after Nikolas says that "at least it only happened one time" and Lucky realizes that he knew about it for months. Nikolas is gone by the time Liz gets home (after she goes to cry on Jason's shoulder again), and Lucky asks her point-blank if Jake is his or Jason's. That's how the 8/3 episode ends, the 8/6 one picks up there, and the two of them get into it about everything that happened last summer, and how Liz has behaved since.

Liz/Ric and Liz's testimony

Ric asks. She lies. She says that she had a paternity test run, it proved what she's been saying all along, that Jake's father is her husband, Lucky. She later rips into Ric for what he did, he says that what is happening in her life is on her, not him. Sam is also there, Liz tells them that they were the ones who set the whole thing in motion, so it's all their fault. She then hits the lawyers table and suggests that they make use of it, before she leaves.


Kate/Sonny
Morgan loses his favorite ball in Kate's meditation pond. Michael asks for permission to get it out, but she tells them that it's dangerous and that she'll get them another ball to replace it. Sonny leaves for a while, comes back and sees Kate teaching Morgan and Michael how to paint waterlilies with water colors and telling them about Monet and his waterlily pond. She's a mess, not only from the watercolors, but also from a pizza that Morgan accidentally knocked over on her. Sonny watches without them knowing that he's there. When they realize he is, Michael tells Sonny that Kate doesn't hate them after all. She says that she was wrong about them. Morgan later goes after the ball, Kate pulls him out of the pond.

Jax

Jax is being held at gunpoint by Irina on a ship. She tells him that her intial plan was to kill him in front of Jerry and make Jerry watch his little brother die. He offers her money to disappear, but she says that she's too young to retire and wouldn't be happy anyway. She then suggests that he sleep with her. He tells her that torture and being held prisoner isn't exactly the way to turn him on, she threatens another man who is also on the ship. Jax plays along to buy time, they're kissing but he pulls back. He asks why not take the time to enjoy one anohter, she says that he's stalling, then tells him to think about what he has to lose. She intends to look Jerry in the eye as she kills him, but Carly could die at any moment, since all she has to do is give the word. She kisses him again. Jax hesitates, then pulls her to him and they have angry sex.*
