Doesn't it seem like they always have at least one couple having the SAME conversation over and over and over? For a while it was Courtney and Nik, Then Courtney and Jax (leave me alone, I want to protect you, you are carrying my child, can't we be friends, I need to live my own life blah blah blah). Now it is Jason and Sam. I FF through them now.

I feel exactly the same way...I keep seeing and hearing the SAME converstaions...that is why you can go a week..check in once or watch on soap net...and not miss anything significant. It's as if the writers are on vacation or strike!

I don't know if you have already discussed this on your thread, but I saw on CNN this morning that Rick Springfield is reprising his role as Dr. Noah Drake for about 12 episodes to help promote is upcoming album.

Does anybody remember how Dr. Noah Drake was written off the first time? I have vague recollections of him being involved with Bobbi (and was there another nurse?) but can't recall much else. I was in my early teens at the time and was more interested in playing his album over and over and over again!

I Tivo the episodes so I just watched Tuesdays last night. Have they changed the way they are filming? Everything looked really crisp and clear. I have an HD/Digital set so I wasn't sure if maybe they had switched to filming in HD or something.

I seem to recall Bobbi faking blindness so that he would stay with her, and then he found out. I can't remember if that was why he left or not.

I noticed that, too!

But i don't get to watch everyday, more like 1-2 times a week at my moms when she tapes it.

I agree about the pancake make up job on Rick Springfield. Last time I saw him (a few years ago) he looked like sex, drugs & rock and roll had gotten the better of him.

Flash forward to now and he looks 20 years younger than a few years ago?

They're either using some kind of age defying make up, or he's been seeing Bobbi's plastic surgeon!

Yes, the young guy who was with Georgie and talking about "coming out" was Lucas. Bobbie is his mother. She adopted him from Cheryl and ?? (can't recall the father's name right now).

As an aside, I'm liking the guy who is filling in for Tyler. I just think he looks and sounds good with Courtney.

I don't care for the Nikolas stand in. I didn't like the other one either, the actor that played him for a year or more...can't think of his name.

When they introduce a character for the first time, as when Nikolas came on the scene when LuLu needed the bone marrow transplant (or whatever it was that she needed to live), it's hard for me to accept anyone else in that role.

I am liking the NuCarly though, I think she'll bring a lot to the table. I'm hoping anyway. She seems to interact well with the others so far, has a little spunk to her personality, etc. I think she'll be a good fit.

I just wish they'd get rid of the whole Nik/Courtney/Jax storyline, it's old and boring.

Something's up with Dr. Meadows and Jax though...maybe he paid her to fake the paternity results and Nikolas really is the father. Luke is going to find out what's going on and use it against Jax so that NuCarly can have Metrocourt. (that's my prediction for the day!)

Technically Carly is his Sister, Georgie and Maxie are his cousins. Also I read his Dad is Tony Jones.

Lucas was adopted by Tony Jones and Bobbi when they were married. So, yeah, Carly is his sister, but not by blood and Bobbi and Tony are his adoptive parents.

Cheryl was Tiffany's (as in Sean and Tiffany) sister. She got pregnant by Julian Jerome (remember the big Jerome family and the crazy sister Olivia??). When Cheryl gave birth, her baby was stolen from her and Bobbi and Tony (unknowingly) adopted Lucas. Cheryl was later killed or died. It came out that Cheryl was his mom, and I believe, Tiffany did try to get custody, but lost. She then later became an "active" Aunt Tiffany.

Hi, Blondie, I've been suspecting the same thing! See post #2180 for my post on this. Great minds are thinking alike! Except I didn't think of the part where Luke finds out and uses it for blackmail. Good twist!
