Just a little bit

Years ago, when Sonny 1st joined the show. I LOVED Sonny. I liked him with Stone, Robin and Brenda. Loved him with Luke and even Jason in the begining. I even liked Lilly! But now he is just sleezy. I mean how many woman is he going to get pregnant? And they all just SWOON for him, like he is some huge prize. Reese and Hannah, both FBI agents who tanked their careers because Sonny was so irresistible? Amelia has 2 encounters and a drink w/him and she is in his bed? She better watch out or Sonny's supersperm is gonna get her!

I also can not take Sonny and Carly round 3000 but unless they get Vanessa Marcil back they have to go w/that because it is the only pairing that works for MB. I always feel bad that the actresses get the blame for his failed pairings but he's the common demonator.

I also think he is laughable as a 'good guy' mobster. He doesn't strike me as the least bit intimidating or powerful.

I know what WAS appealing about Sonny but I don't know what still is.

Are you the poster that doesn't like Liz? I know there are a few here and there are a lot more out there. I really like the character but she is one of those love/hate ones too. Same with Robin. Maybe we should all post our like/dislike/indifferent lists, lol.

No, I am not the poster that dislikes Liz. I don't like her expecting Jason to walk away from his baby though.

I understand what you are saying about Sonny. I liked his character much better back then too. Also loved him with Luke. I agree, I do not like the Sonny Carly thing. I don't want them together either and would love to have Brenda back. I think we agree more than we 1st thought.

I think Sonny's appeal waned because he was forced on us too frequently. If they gave him half the airtime, he might get some of that long lost appeal back. Now all we see is him with those sad puppy dog eyes drooling over Carly.

I think I hate her as much as I hated Courtney. I actually really liked Sam and Jason in the beginning but now I think that it was that I hated Courtney so much I liked Jason w/anyone else!

I'm enjoying Amelia but don't really love the temp recast. I don't like the new Stan either (didn't like him on PC) why does he always sound like he is talking in a stage whisper.

I love Epiphany and wish we'd see more of her and Kelly and Lanie.

They need some more guys that are Patrick's age.

not yet - but I can not believe that Jax or Sonny hasn't noticed his last name is Barrett.

I guess in the background check they didn't come up. The rumor (not spoiler) is that he might be Julia's son.

I did not care for the actress who WAS playing Amelia..I like the look of the NuAmelia... since the character is fairly new it should not be too hard for the New actress. jmho

That's funny--- I was really loving Old Amelia--- odd for me, it takes me a while to warm up to people, but I don't like NuAmelia at all. I agree with everything else you said though!!

yep - just another one of Sam's stupid back-stories. I don't get why TBTB don't get that the character isn't working. She is supposed to be what...26? Is that what came out with the Alexis is her mother thing???

- The 'dead man's hand' cards during which it was her fault that Jax's dad died
- She killed her 'bio' mother in the fire
- Con-artist who had at least 3 husbands under aliases and killed 1 - Bill Monroe
- salvage diver/boat captain
- The mentally challenged brother who died in the virus thing
- her deceased daughter with Sonny

now she is a TV star

I get it is a soap and they are totally unbelievable but how much more are they going to shove this character down our throats???

which leads me to my next question - how do you feel about the current story-lines? I was reading SZ a bit and was interested by the responses.

I'm not 100% thrilled with anything on the show.

I'm watching Liz and Jason and Liz and Lucky.
I've been watching the whole Robin/Nik/Craig - Patrick/Emily mess which is odd because Nik and Emily are usually FF material for me.
As usual I'm FFing Sonny and Carly. I need a vomit smiley for them.
I'm also FFing Sonny and Jason. The whine too much.
I'm enjoying the 'teens' Spinelli, Lulu, Logan, Coop, Maxie, Milo - Dillion not so much anymore.
I really don't care about Lorenzo/Skye which is a shame. They aren't used enough in their own story and the war with Sonny is boring. I think I FF them a lot because they are in the Sonny/Mob sphere.
Alan/Tracy/Luke are pretty funny as are the rest of the Q's with Tracy but even that isn't really moving along.
I like Carly and Jax so I've been sorta watching but I don't like that she is still hung up on Sonny. I like Carly SO much better away from Sonny.
I totally FF Sam and Jason but I kinda like the Sam/Amelia stuff only because I want to see her totally destroy Sam. Of course knowing the IIC, Sam will come out looking great.

Poor Rick Hearst is totally getting screwed. I like him, the actor so much but the character is just a total loss. He needs a story that isn't mob related of him being horrible to Alexis. Speaking of Alexis, besides the continuing cancer story she isn't doing much else.

Ok I THINK I got everything. How does anyone else feel about the show?

I agree with you on the above. I wish we could se emore of Lanie outside of therapy sessions. I really like when she was starting the relationship with (shoot - I am blanking.... help me here) - anyway, you saw a more social side of her.

I still just think it's crazy. Did Jerry get a "new personality" along with his "new face"? Jerry Jax wouldn't have behaved in the way that this character is behaving. While he walked on the edge, he still had a streak of decency and likability in him. He wouldn't have treated Bobbie's daughter that way, or any of the people that he knew before, especially as someone already pointed out, Sonny.

The wedding will happen between Jax and Carly, they didn't show Carly's wedding dress. Bobbi's dress was falling off of her, it looks like she is anorexic.

Had to laugh when LuLu left the 3 guys and grabbed Michael and Morgan.

Does LuLu have a hair extension in, her hair isn't that long.

I thought I was imagining a different Amelia. I cannot stand that story line. Same is suppose to be so smart, i can't believe she lets Amelia talk to her like that, and why would Sam want to be a big tv star. Her and Jason have few lines and scenes together anymore, it just doesn't seem like they are a couple any more. GH takes so much time putting a couple together and when they finally get them together, they break them up right away or give them no story line.

I bet this happens to Jax and Carly.
