So, today I got some of the $100 DW gift card with the $10 DS gift card at sams (for $98 how awsome)!!! Just orderd some goodies on line and only had to pay $0.96!!!!! I got DD a minnie mouse poncho, the 2011 autograph book, a long sleeve tinker bell t-shirt, a princess hoddie, and a pin lanyard for me. I think im just going to pack some warmer outfits and some cooler ones.... not sure what else to do... I did get her the minnie croc's on ebay and my mom got her new princess light up shoes for christmas. I plan on getting more gift cards next week (to convert my room only resy to a package) and getting the 2011 hoodie for my slef!!!! I am hanging the count down paint chips up tonight!!!! 21 days to go!

Gina - I guess the first ride would have to be Tower of Terror (splash mountain at a close second - it just spells Disney to me) Tower of Terror is my all time FAVORITE though and I could ride it 100 times!
I got my Mickey Mail a week ago, so that was at 26 days out, but I know Allison is going on the same day and hers arrived later... So don't fret I am sure it is on the way!

I have been "packing" all day.. Reallly just gathering things and I am scared that the suitcases I bought for the kids are WAY TOO SMALL!! They hardly hold anything!! Luckily DH and I have giant expanding ones.. Hopefully I can fit everything.

I plan on bringing Zip Hoodies or Fleece for night touring. Usually 40+ degrees and I am without a coat anyway.
I plan on packing lots of layers, probably only one or two pairs of shorts, one swim suit(just in case) and a couple of sweatshirts.. . Lets just hope it all fits

I would *love* to get a referbed room. I think Bldg 7 and 6 are now done. I was kinda hoping 5 would be done, but if not.. i am good with either building.
DH and I had a corner room last time, king bed, it was great!

I know some of you will think I am crazy, but for the colder temps I am bringing my big wool coat. Having lived in Socal all my life, if it hits 60 or lower, I am freezing! We went to Idaho one year for Christmas (older sis lives there) and i was in a blanket the whole time as the house temp was 68.

Yes I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather.

I really hope so... I have to go with a first floor room over a refurb room though, since my knee is an issue, I can't go up and down stairs. So? I guess we shall see!!! I switched to POFQ from CBR for 1. resort size and 2. Queen size beds (my kids are crazy sideways sleepers and usually end up in bed with us at some point throughout the night) I guess it would be a bummer (not too bad of a bummer) if we didn't get a room with queens.

I wish we could tell the weather from 19 days out..

I agree with the qsb... my daughter always ends up in my bed! we switched from AKL to save a crap load of $$$$!!!! I am hoping there is some time that might be warm enough for a quick swim.... my DD 4 is looking forward to that slide!!!!! what are your dates again? we are the 5th-13th

I know, my kids will be so upset if they can't swim. I know that they heat their pools, but anything below 70 is just torture when you have to get out!!!

We will be there from 2/2 - 2/9 so we will be there for a while together! We should try to meet up at the frigid pool?

I am packing to layer, layer, layer. We went last Jan and it was record setting cold, and the year before in Feb and it was a mix of some really cold days and a couple of nice ones. You never know this time of year. I hate to be cold though so I error on that side. (I know, I am Canadian, but still)

We have not received any Mickey mail either and we leave in 20 days. I rush home every day to check but still......nothing. So sad. It's never real for me until I see the tags.

I think my first ride this year will be Winnie the Pooh. My DD5 just lights up if you even mention it. This trip is a surprise for the kids. They won't know until the morning we leave, so to be on rides before dinner will be so amazing. Especially when they wake up thinking it's a school day.:

thank you all so much for your wonderful thougts, prayers and pixie dust! it worked!!!! hubby spent the better part of the afternoon at the ta's office while i received my remicade infusion figuring it all out...thank god for cell phones! instead now we will be staying from the 11th-19th vs the 25th....but ive been bribed with a christmas trip!!! lol not that it wont be insane cost wise with airfare, cus it really is from here, but its worth it!

the capt said he could give allan a week, but absolutley had to be home by the 20th to be training on the 21st. so instead of cancelling our amazing steal of a deal airfare(2000 direct and return) we've left the end date open and instead bought one ways home for the four of us so we didn't loose any money with the cancellation this close. ugh! another 1400 dollars pretty much making my amazing deal not so amazing but atleast we still get to go to disney as a family....and i get to weasel another trip in this year!!!! lol but man still i'd love to kick the capt rite in the kahoonas...maybe i can smuggle a wicked queen or witch or something home with us to give him a hard time. i still have to call dvc and tweak our ressies and "hold" pts and had to cancel some ressies : ( but the makeover for the kids, our dessert party etc stayed in tact. thanks guys!

I almost forgot, but the mention of swimming reminded me: If you're staying at Pop, the main pool is going to be closed 2/14 - 3/11. Just in case anyone specifically requested to be by that pool (although I can't imagine anyone swimming in February, lol!) But there are always crazy people swimming when we're there anyway.

Anyways, just wanted to give y'all a heads up. The other two smaller pools will still be open.

It was booked, but now they have had the 11th open for a few days now in preferred. Someone said it was the start of a free dining week, so that may be it. Also, I think there is a dance competition and they are all at all stars, so that could be, too.
We had booked 7th through the 11th and then wanted to add a day. Since, the 11th didn't come available, I finally had to upgrade to CSR instead. Phooey! Now the 11th is available at POP and I can't downgrade without the $50 fee.

No, none at all.... I have never even been in a wheelchair. I am on crutches now but I don't think that would be doable in the world so, I will have to rent one? I go to the dr on wed to see if the stress fracture and bone bruising has healed, but i still have a lot if pain so i am not so optimistic.

Are you usually in a wheelchair or just for the trip?
