So excited!!! Just booked my room only ressie yesterday! We are going to be POFQ from February 1-8! I am going to be going with my DH, DD, my sister and for the first time my parents are going too! Here's hoping to great weather and good times!

We are going! We are going! I am so super excited. I booked the flight out of Buffalo. The dates are Feb 12-19. We are thinking of staying at Windsor Hills. I am assuming that the week before Presidents Day is not too bad????

I totally hear ya...wonder what gives

Even with my 3 kiddos I was hoping to at least get one late night with EMH. I wonder if it's even dark for the fireworks ?? Ugh...for me it's a decision between NO fantasmic and 3 extra MK EMH. Hands down I'll have to do Fantasmic, esp. since my friend and her family are traveling with us and have never seen the show. My girls were GLUED to that last year and I really enjoyed myself as well.

Sometimes they do add on EMH...we can always hope right!?

There were a LOT of EMH offered for Epcot when I looked. In our week visit we are going to get a hour extra in the morning and one night it is open till midnight!

If it were just DH and I again I'd probably rather be at Epcot anyway...much more romantic and much better food!

But my kids LOVE Epcot even more so than MK, esp. my 8 year old.

Coming from MI in FEB I think that ANY weather would have to be better than home.... However, mid 70's and clear skies minus any whining from the children sounds LOVELY lol.

Don't know if you read the other posts, but to read this, it's the date (obviously) then the crowd level number (1-10, 1 being lowest crowds) then the top 1-3 parks to visit that day. The last park listed is the one to avoid.

You can definitely see how it creeps up as you get closer to actual Presidents day on the 21st! Gotta love that day (Sun. Feb. 13th) with a 1!!!

And does anyone know if park hours at that time of year are pretty similar in March? We will be there end of Feb to March 9th, so most of my dates are into the next month. I am a planning fiend (can we say "future tv appearance on Intervention or Obsessed"??????)

i'm finding the park hours directly from the disney site..

click on the actual day you are looking for and up will pop the EMH (if any) and any parade or event going on that day! HTH.

I would think (and this is only a guess, i've never been in March) that very early march would be about the same as Feb. hours.

I am right there with ya on the planning though!

We plan on surprising our three kids. They do know that we have booked flights for this coming winter. They think it is in March, during March Break. I cannot wait. I just hope they stay healthy this winter...

Yes, I'm in Findlay, OH. South of Toledo by about an hour. Where in Michigan are you? I am envious of your $144 fare from Detroit to MCO. I haven't seen that good of a rate for our dates. Is yours non-stop? I need to get serious about booking airfare, but so many of the airlines that I'm looking at, don't even have their Feb. dates posted! Crazy!!! Don't they know we need to PLAN! You'll be booking your ADR's soon! How exciting!!

Trying to keep this surprise is HARD! My husband will not believe that I've been able to secretly save enough money for this trip (which remains to be seen, I guess!) I am planning in any spare moments that I have. The real hard part will be calling to make ADR's on all of those days once my window opens up. I'm not quite sure how I'll manage that one. We're staying in a timeshare off property, so I can't use the online service (at least I don't think I can).

My excitement is the other hard thing! I ordered a T-shirt for my husband that says "It's my birthday - I'm 50 and I'm going to Disney World!". I think I'm going to wrap that in a HUGE box with some disney helium balloons. When he opens it, the balloons will float out and then he will see the t-shirt and hopefully understand the surprise. I may come up with 20 other ideas before February.. but that's what I'm thinking now.

Anyone have any other ideas??

Anyway... that's my story..

Just wanted to let you know I booked my flight out of Buffalo. We are flying Jetblue for $109. I am from Canada. The drive to Buffalo is about 2 hours.
