We arrive on the 26th. My previous plans were to get there on the 24th, to celebrate my husbands birthday (which is actually on the 26th) but when I saw taht it was a "9" on the 26th, I decided that we would travel on the 26th and start our week at the parks on the 27th. It goes from a 9 to most days being 1, 2 and 3's for the following week.

However... it's DISNEY... no matter WHEN you're there, you will have a blast!!!

I'm just excited to finally go during a time where crowd levels won't be so high but it's totally doable to go when they are! Just make sure you get plenty of info about how to do things the right and smart way via the disboards!

I am so happy I found the boards before we went with our girls last year (it was their first trip!) . It really did allow me to get done pretty much everything we wanted to get done and I'm sure that had we not read all the tips and tricks here we wouldn't have had as great of an experience!

I'm totally hooked now

Thank you Dee . . . and Mandy too! I was totally expecting those types of numbers since it's a busy, busy week. We would normally be going the week after (as you are Dee); but our school district changed our week of vacation to co-incide with President's week this year.

I did try last year to have our family (22 of us) follow a touring plan; I even prepared helpful touring cards with how to visit each attraction, in which order, etc. . . .but it all fell apart the first day when everyone entered the parks and scattered to different attractions.
Oh well, they're family, you gotta love 'em - it wouldn't be Disney without all of us together! Thanks again

Eek, seeing those 9's for the crowd levels when we will be travelling to Walt Disney World is scaring me a bit. The last trip we went on to WDW, the crowd levels were 4's and 5's. Oh well, so we are squished between people...at least we are in Disney!

Hello, we are looking at going Feb 10 - Feb 14 never been to Florida in February before (April, October & November) just wondering what the weather is going to be like and crowds. not to worried about weather, live in Calgary Alberta so we are usually -30 and 3feet of snow but last Feb 2010 we were actually warmer than Florida?
any advice would sure be appreciated.

DBF and I will be there for a week! Its both of our first trips, an we too are hoping for the 4/3 deal! I can book my ADR's August 13th... So I'm REALLY hoping to have our dates nailed down by August 1st. I'm assuming thats about when Feb. hours will come out? Hoping so

We won't have hoppers, so I'll need to base my ADR's off of park hours!

As of now Wednesday the 9th through Wednesday the 16th is looking good to us!!

If someone wanted to post the crowd calendar for the 13th-16th that would be AMAZING.

I am curious to know what the weather is usually like? I know that last Feb was extremely cold...what's the norm? I posted this on another Feb thread, but got no response yet We are looking at Feb 17-25 OR braving the Easter crowds and go April 14-22. Any insight would be

February 2009 - IMHO - was not that bad but some would call it chilly (except for most of us New Englanders!). We went the last week of Feb and most of the days were 50s/60s to low 70s. Near the end of the week mid 70s. Our visit prior in February 2007 was much warmer most days in 70s and some 80s. The kids were still in the pool both visits!

Hey guys. Joining the thread for two reasons:

1. We will be at either AKV- Kidani or BCV (we'll be trying to switch ressies on Tuesday since we will have just been to AKV in Sept) for Feb 27 - March 6

2. We just found out that the Shuttle launch that we were hoping to see on September 16th has been moved to Feb 26, 2011. This'll be the last one ever. We may actually go down a day early and stay at Cocoa Beach to catch it. Wanted to let you all know in case maybe some of you want to skip the Crowd Level 9 parks on the 26th and head over to KSC instead

WOW 22 of you! Thats awesome I've been trying to get my family to come along for years but they just aren't as dsiney obsessed as we are I mean, my sister picked a trip to Vegas OVER DISNEY!! What was she thinking? LOL
