Got some bad news just now.

A very good friend and somewhat a mentor had an embolism after coming back from a vacation in Europe. Just got out of the hospital but before they released him, he was diagnosed with cancer in both lungs and the liver. No plan yet on how to fight it.

I started this thread...and I embarrassed to say... I haven't looked at it in many months... for that I am truly sorry.

I come here today just asking for prayers about my current situation.

My FIL has been living with us since Nov. In the past few week he has not been doing well. Sleeping for long periods (Days)... not having much output...very weak. Hes in very poor physical and mental condition anyway. Bad heart...bad joints...constant pain...dementia...brain tumor...etc.

Been very tough on my wife... the not knowing what the heck is going on or going to happen. We think we know... but not really.

I guess I just want you to pray for God's will and peace in this situation... and pray for my wife Mel. Thank you.

I am sorry that I have not been on this, but work and family is keeping me hopping constantly. Anyways, You and your family are in our prayers.

Finally convinced DW to accept limited Hospice care...to help out.
Basically pain management and a catheter.

As of today... pupils are fixed... very few bowel sound... very little output...

I'd say he's "checked out" ... but body is still fighting. <---blunt analysis
probably a day or 2 left.

Prayers for wife... she amazes me how strong she has been thru all of this.
