A gentleman I know from another forum just posted that his wife was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer with metastasis to multiple organs a month ago. She is in hospital now and they signed the DNR order last night. Only palliative treatment will be given. If you would remember Larry and his wife Vickie they would appreciate the prayers.

UPDATE...Vickie got to go home. She is doing well, considering, and is looking at another MD that is proposing a more aggressive treatment plan. Thanks for the prayers.

A Coast Guard helicopter crashed into Mobile Bay last night. One confirmed dead, three more missing. Holding out hope that missing crew are in the water somewhere or made it to shore. No updates that I know of but I just got home. The son of one of the pilots is in the classroom of an elementary school teacher I know.

This is one of those times when I stand in silence in honor of people who die in the line of duty protecting us.

Prayers for all those who put their lives on the line to save others.

A and I leave very early tomorrow morning for his memorial in Tampa. Then we drive back on Sunday. Will get to see my other brother and sister. They haven't seen DD for a few years so that will be nice.

Some of you from Facebook already know, but for those that don't....Steve (GoHerd) had to take his son to the ER last night for breathing issues. They're still there and are administering breathing treatments.

Prayers for Carl, CJ and Steve...and anyone else I may have missed.

I would like ot thank all of you for your prayers and support for my father and his surgery. It certainly means allot to me.

My dad is doing very well. He's been harassing the nurses ...so I know he's feeling better from his surgery.

Doc said that all the margin tissue he cut out around to cancer area and lymph nodes...tested negative for cancer...so he feels good that he was able to remove all the cancer.

Thanks again for your prayers.

Thanks so much for all of your prayes the last few days. i truly believe that they have helped to make things better. Ethan was ablet o come home this morning and we are still doing breathing teatments every 4 hours!!! It is good to have him home and not be as worried about him!!
