I can not talk up Hidden Figures enough. I laughed, I cried... and I learned. A piece of American history we should all know! And it's a family appropriate movie!
Haven't seen photos or comments anywhere yet about Michelle Dockery's dress. If you showed it to me on the hanger I would have laughed at it. Looking at her wearing it I am shocked she was able to carry it off at all. Still don't love it, but it wasn't the clown costume I might have expected purely from the image of the dress itself.
Taraji, I think you are beautiful and give some great performances (Absolutely adored what you brought to Detective Joss Carter on POI). I also think you need to learn to share a microphone with your co presenters and cast mates, and quit trying so hard to make it about you by accosting every person who must pass your seat to claim their award. These are not first time offenses for you.
I'm a little shocked that La La Land lost. Can't wait to get the DVD. But the previews of Hidden Figures don't make it seem like an award winning movie. Must get to the movie theater this week!
One of us doesn't have good taste in fashion because People Magazine disagrees with me almost across the board on Best Dressed! Really they picked Nicole Kidman?? Kerry's Washington is the only one we agree on.
