The Official DIS SAG Awards LIVE PARTY thread!!!

La La Land deserves to win best picture and everything els it is nominated for. I've seen it twice already and will definitely own the dvd when it's released.

Loved La La Lang, love Emma. I hope she wins the Academy Award. The first person she thanked when she won the Golden Globe was her Mom, and she brought her brother as her date tonight. What a sweetie.

her ex is there, nominated for lead actor. I want them to get back together.

I think this is the first time the SAG Awards have gone over time. :scratchin But, when the cast of Stranger Things won and they were jumping & cheering so much, and then that speech, it was like herding a bunch of cats. :jumping1:

I want to see Fences also. I have to admit I didn't know anything about it until this awards season started.

I figured Denzel was a shoo in. Fences was that kind of writing & role. The actor in the Broadway play also won the Tony. Actually, the whole cast pretty much won or was nominated on Broadway:

I guess that means Ryan won't win the Oscar?
