~*~*~*~*The Official DECEMBER 2015 Thread*~*~*~*~

Okay, firming up plans... Improving them, anyway. Thought I would share here...
12/20 check in to YC around 3:30, walk to Epcot, dinner at Sunshine Seasons
12/21 HS, lunch at Sci-Fi, evening?
12/22 ?
12/23 breakfast at Captain's Grille and check out, walk through Epcot, monorail to Poly to check in, evening at MK with dinner at the Plaza
12/24 Ohana breakfast, HS for lights and HBD
12/25 Kona breakfast, hotel in am, Epcot for early (3:20!) dinner at Rose and Crown, try to see Star Wars in DTD after ( hoping tickets will be able to be booked in advanced)
12/26 rest day, Hoop De Doo, maybe resort hop to see decorations we haven't seen yet.
12/27 MK Trails End dinner
12/28 AK Yak and Yeti lunch
12/29 Epcot Tutto Italia lunch
12/30 MK, Grand Floridian late lunch and Magical Express (late flight... Will likely board at 6:00 pm)
We have the ? Because of adding days on front end. Any thoughts on what you would do?

does anyone know when they will update the hours for the 2nd half of December??? Getting anxious......also waiting on the additional narrators to be announced for the Candlelight Processional
I have read that they do a final tweak of the hours and events scheduled, like adding second MsEP or Fantasmics about five weeks before. Which is driving me nuts with this Merry & Bright Party and Minnie's Holiday Dine w/ Fantasmic booked on the same night.

It's all such a domino effect. Im waiting on CP and if I want to change it then I have to alter something else ( preaching to the choir as I'm sure we all understand that). I'm also waiting on Skippers news because I will want to swap that one out too

I just joined Disboards today! So excited I found it! We just decided to take our 3.5 year old daughter on her 3rd Disney trip over Christmas. We just booked it this week and got some great ADRs. We'll be there Dec. 22-26 and found this site when I was looking for tips to get a reservation at CRT. We'll be staying at the All-Star Movies resort and will be at MK the 23rd and 24th. We've never been around Christmas? Anybody have any great tips/suggestions on what to do? We've already got ADRs for BOG, 1900 Park Fare, and Artist Point for Christmas dinner.

I know there will be "holiday prices" for buffets on Dec 24 and 25. Do the restaurants do anything special on those days? I have Minnie at H&V on Dec 24 but just wondering if any other restaurants will have something special on Dec 24 or 25. I'm going to make sure I have DDP credits for my meals on Dec 24 and 25, the final days of my trip.

You're taking your three year old daughter to her 3rd Disney trip over Christmas? You might be new to the Dis, but you sound like park veterans! :thumbsup2 Give us advice! :rotfl:

Not sure about buffets, but we ate at LTT on Christmas Day last year and it was the same menu and business as usual.

This is our first time going with the Disney Dining Plan, which i think is going to work for us since we landed some pretty good ADRs. Everytime we go we add something different. What we learned last time was that it is totally worth it staying on the property! The first time we didn't, and it was a hassle!! Especially with a 16 month old!! This time we are trying the DDP, and going over Christmas. How are the crowds going to be? We went in October and June the last two times.

It will be crowded. Go early (first thing). Use your fp's for mid to late morning or in the evening if you plan to go back later, but I would definitely try to take a break from noon to six when crowds peak.

WOW I have a lot to catch up on! First, could my info in the roll call please be updated? It was 12/10-12/16 at POR and it's now 12/10-12/18 at POFQ. Thanks! :worship:

Is everyone getting so excited?! It's almost here!! Since my family, friends, and non-Disney loving pals are probably sick of me sending them our itinerary for the trip, I will share it with you guys since we're all equally as crazy here. :hippie: I was lucky to score $16 (one-way) JetBlue tickets for our flights because it's the first flight ever out of my local airport and they wanted to celebrate!! That's how this whole trip started actually. It went from a practically free flight long weekend to over a week, haha. Oh well, you can't keep me away. So since they're only doing one flight per day I had to settle with an evening flight rather than the usual early morning one I prefer, but that's ok. Here we go...

12/10: Dinner at Sassagoula, if we're feeling perky then a trip to Downtown Dis or Epcot for EMH.
12/11: HS for the new Sci-Fi b'fast, a few rides, back to the hotel for some r&r and QS lunch before MVMCP! QS dinner at the party.
12/12: AK for the day w/QS b'fast and lunch, AKL to check out the decorations and dinner at Boma.
12/13: New brunch at Narcoossee's (SO excited for this), monorail resort hop to check out the decorations, Trader Sam's, Downtown Dis for the evening w/QS dinner (most likely our fav holiday sandwich at Earl of Sandwich), Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar.
12/14: HS for the day w/QS b'fast and lunch, Minnie's Holiday Dine w/Fantasmic!
12/15: WL to check out the decorations and b'fast at Whispering Canyon, MK for the day w/QS lunch and dinner (or Skipper Canteen if it's open).
12/16: Epcot for the day w/QS b'fast and holiday food booths for lunch, Candlelight Processional Dinner Package w/Via Napoli, Holiday Illuminations.
12/17: B'fast at Captain's Grille, check out BoardWalk resorts decorations, QS lunch and dinner, pop back to the resort to pack, HS for Merry & Bright Dessert Party!
12/18: QS b'fast, Downtown Dis for lunch at Morimoto and Star Wars at AMC!

Chrimmassssssssssssssssss c'mon! Can't wait. Ok, going to go back and read what I missed and check out others plans. Fun fun! :santa:

Accidently posted on the 2016 thread before. Oops! LOL

I booked last week for 12/6-12/11

Went in March but talked DH into going back for Christmas. We've only been during Spring and Summer and we are super excited to see all the holiday decorations! This time we are taking Grandma so we can ride more of the bigger rides.

Anyone going during the beginning of December and planning on wearing Christmas shirts? Trying to decide if we should or not. This will be our first trip so close to Christmas.

Anyone getting nervous about the crowds the week after Thanksgiving? With it being the last year of Osbourne- I've heard the resort's are full.

This is our first Christmas (or anytime other than summer) trip too!! I doubt my DH would let me dress him lol. Maybe the kids if I found something inexpensive....

Great score on those airline tickets! :cool1:

Yes! I am! We've been during busier times of year, so we will adjust, but I was really looking forward to a more relaxed trip and limited touring plans this time.
