~*~*~*~*The Official DECEMBER 2015 Thread*~*~*~*~

What is this mention of holiday food booths at Epcot? I have not heard of that before!
Last year they had a few additional booths set up with seasonal holiday treats. I remember Germany had a booth with Christmas fruit cake and a special drink. Have these booths been confirmed for this year? I hope so! They added to the Festive spirit last year. :thumbsup2

I haven't read anything about them yet for 2015, but they seem to be making things bigger and better each year so I'm crossing my fingers! I NEED some type of holiday waffle sandwich!! :woohoo:

Here is an article about the booths/treats from last year: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2014/...eturning-to-epcots-holidays-around-the-world/

can someone critique our plans?? I've changed them so many times.. pretty sure we have things finalized. never been in december, but taking a weekend trip for my birthday 12/4-12/7. first time at MVMCP. trying to cram four parks in two days #impossible lol

Fri: fly in @ 6pm.. staying at AOA, taking a cab to Poly for 9:50pm dinner ressie
Sat: HS (8am EMH), will be there @ rope drop. run to RnRC + ToT. Breakfast @ Sci-Fi, 9:45am.
PH to EP, waiting on a Via Naploli dinner ressie to open up, but we have a 5pm Teppan Edo.
Sun: AK, also there for rope drop, run to everest real quick before out 9:40am Tusker (unless I can get a later ressie)
PH to MK, praying for a BOG ressie to open up. MVMCP for the rest of the night.
Mon: flying back

any tips/suggestions??

Wow! You really are cramming. When will you sleep? :rotfl:
Are you sure you want such a late Poly dinner the first night with an 8am rope drop the next morning?

Anyone going during the beginning of December and planning on wearing Christmas shirts? Trying to decide if we should or not. This will be our first trip so close to Christmas.

We are heading to the Xmas Party on 12/8 and Minnie's dinner on 12/12 and both times I'll be in holiday attire :groom:

Anyone getting nervous about the crowds the week after Thanksgiving? With it being the last year of Osbourne- I've heard the resort's are full.

God I hope not. That's when we are going for our 1st trip and I want to enjoy it and not miss out on a lot due to high crowds. We originally picked that week since everyone said it's one of the lowest crowded weeks :scratchin

75 days!! Not only do I need a Disney vacation but I need a vacation in general! Saving up my full 2 weeks vacation time when I haven't had a vacation since April '14 is killing me. Never again! I need a work break :worship:

Yes! We always go in summer so we know crowds and touring. But I was excited for level THREE crowds!!! Wah wahhhhhh
yeah, that was a HUUUGE reason we were justifying going this time of year, probably only time I'll be able to pull it off! I SO hope there are a few "more relaxed" days :-/

Question for those that have been during this time of year before. We will be going 12/8-12/12. How is the humidity during the beginning of the month. I see the average high is 75 Degress and was wondering if pants are good or are shorts worn more still?

Roll Call has been updated! :santa:

It really comes down to your tolerance. Me personally, I love weather in the low to mid 70s, that's my ideal temp, so I plan on wearing shorts mostly (I'm there Dec. 4-11). But I am bringing capris pants with me too, just in case it gets a little too chilly at night for me. :cutie:

December trip back on! Nov 28-Dec 5 that is. Driving from CT on Black Friday morning will be me, DH, DS 6, DD 4 and DD 4 months!!! My parents will be flying down to join us. We are staying Pop. Not sure which day we will do the Christmas party yet. Planning 4 day base ticket and party tickets. First Christmas trip- we always go summertime since so teach so I HAD to take advantage of my leave this fall! Over the moon!
This sounds strikingly similar to our trip!! :) Nov 26-Dec 3! We get in on Thanksgiving (saved like $600 that way), staying at Pop, my mom flies in on Black Friday, me, DH, DS9(turning10 on trip), DS6, DD4, DS2, DD 4 months! :) 5 day base tix too :) woohoo maybe we'll hear each other's kids ;) having a BLAST that is!
Super excited it's almost FP+ time! (which means I can stop agonizing...right? haha)

With good touring plans you can enjoy the crowds and still see a lot. It will still be nothing in comparison to Christmas week when the parks reach capacity and close.
