How very exciting! I'll be going down with my sister and her family and they haven't told my nieces either for the same reason. They did the same thing last year and the girls were excited by the surprise, well especially the then brand new six year old, she's the eldest

How very sweet of you to take your sister down for her birthday!!! What an awesome gift. I'll be down there the week before Christmas too and am so looking forward to it. You've come to the right place for tips and tricks on wdw trips! You'll get plenty of help along the way. Okay.... so I havent been at Christmas time since 2001. We will be there Dec 16 ( arriving late) and leaving on Christmas Day ( leaving early.... cheap flights)..... Myself and DD 20,Trying to figure out some sort of thought process to planning. Previously we get to park at opening , get a bunch in early, have lunch , park hop and make FP for afternoon. Not too sure if because of crowds, this is still a good plan. I'm thinking for the first couple of days might be okay but, as we get closer to Christmas, might be good to stay put where we start. Thoughts on Christmas Party? Not sure if it's money not needed to be spend ( since we will be there the following week to see parade, wishes and fireworks. Loved the Dessert party and am thinking that is a better investment? but we have done that before. Going to do Candlelight for sure but, trying to figure out ADRS without dates being posted. Thoughts? Suggestions ? Thank you

Did anyone pick up a pair of Disney Vans at Journeys? I did. I bought the Villianess ones. I am wanting to get the Aloha Mickey ones.

I ordered the Lace Up Princess Ones. I have the slip on Mickey Ked's and the slip on Beauty and the Beast from Hot Topic so, figured I go with Lace up this time. I dont recall seeing either design that you mentioned. I will have to look

I called this morning and made my ADRs--It's real!! 180 days from now I will be at Disney!!!! The only reservation I wanted that I didn't get was Raglan Road, and I have to call back when Candlelight Processional reservations are released. The CM said keep watching, they may be released any day, but I am not hoping to see them before July.

I could only use opentable through trip advisor to get that far out, but using it was a dream after my adr horror story with dinsey's site Saturday morning.

We ordered the princess lace-up ones for me and DD4 - she insisted that we have matching ones!!! I'll have to break them in over the next 3 weeks before heading down to WDW for our annual summer trip!
