Another month closer!

We are staying one night at the AKL 12/16 and then the rest at AOA until 12/25. This will be my first time going to all the parks. I have only been to MK for one day, last year. I am super excited, as are my two children.

I just learned that because we are in the Little Mermaid Room and that does not count towards free dining (if they have offer it during the time that we are there). I booked through a travel agent and kind of wish that had been made known to me. Out of curiosity, I just priced a suite and it doesn't make sense to switch even if there is free dining. :/

Have any of you ever done the Christmas Party? I keep going back and forth on if it is worth it and was leaning towards no. What are your thoughts? I love reading about other people's opinions and experiences. It has really helped shape my trip planning!

Taking big family group 12/20->12/26, total of 15 folks, have a GV and studio at BWV. Sure wish we could have gone sometime the first two weeks of December but there's 5 school age kids in the group and Texas frowns at kids being taken out of school for trips.

Just booked this morning so I am in full Happy Dance mood! This is the first real vacation I (24) and DGF (also 24) are doing together and as we both come from Disney-crazed families, it seems very appropriate for it to be at WDW. We will be at POFQ from December 12th through 16th. I absolutely love Disney at Christmastime, and it has been quite a while since I've had the chance to visit during this special time of year (over 10 years now!) Now I have to read through 20 pages of posts to get caught up with everyone else!!

Hey, ya'll! Life has been seriously bogarting my DIS time, and this is the first opportunity I've had the come back to this thread since Page 17. I'll get the Roll Call updated ASAP! I'm also going to add a section for ya'lls PTR threads, so make sure you post them here so we can all follow along with each other's planning!

Hi guys! I've never joined a group here on the Dis, so thought I'd join you all this year and I'm excited to see how this goes! I've been going to WDW yearly with my DD24, ever since 2005, and then a number of times when she was younger, and, several times when I was a child/teen.

We've been renting points for several years now, and we're excited get to go back to the Beach Club Villas, and getting back there for the 2nd time! Our trip dates are Dec 3rd - 13th!!

We love going when all the Christmas things are going on, and the last few years we've been going in Dec specifically. Last year started our trip on late Thanksgiving day, and the Sunday following was not bad at all, so nothing to be worried about, IMO, as far as crowds go! It'd be a great day to do a Christmas party! We really enjoy the Christmas atmosphere and the various things you can experience during the parties such as the Christmas parade, Christmas Wishes, some M&G's, special shows, and less crowds for rides. There's just something special in the air on Christmas party nights, even the snow on Main street! We plan to do the party on Dec 3rd, arrival day, cause we wanna start at MK! We may even do another party later in our trip, but not sure yet about that. I definitely recommend the Christmas parties, (though unfortunatelythey are getting a bit pricey and expect prices will be even higher this year). The Christmas parade and Christmas Wishes aren't available until after all the Xmas parties are over.

Anyway, sorry to be so wordy, lol, but looking forward to being a part of this group as we countdown the days to our Christmas trips!!

Hi all! We are currently booked with a BB for a long weekend early in December. However, I am toying with the idea of going down Christmas week instead. I know that the crowds are crazy, but we have AP's and could stay longer as I am off of work that week. So here's my question - are there EVER deals that week? Even "Magical" ones? Or should we expect to definitely pay rack rate?? Thanks!

If you're waiting for the military 4-day military special ticket, they'll come out sometime over the summer. I'm waiting on the military resort discounts to go live around the same time, myself! I want to potentially upgrade to POFQ at 35% off.

We are planning our trip for Nov 28. Not sure where we are staying. I was kind of waiting to see what offers I will get with my Disney visa!! Hoping for free dining with our 3 kids. But if not we are still going )
