Just booked a short -3 night mommy-daughter trip arriving December 7th. DD is 11. We are annual Disney vets but have never been during the holidays. So excited!!!!! Doing MVMCP for sure, and I think a day at HS, some resort touring and a visit to DTD.
I plan to keep it a secret and tell her via her advent calendar, so she'll be told the morning we leave. She has a one that is like a small wooden cabinet, each box usually holds a small trinket like a bottle of nail polish, earrings, etc. I might just put in a decorated index card that says "Wanna go to Disney?" and on the back, say "Today!"

98 days until my husband and I's first trip to Disney! We will be going Dec 14-19 and I'm soooo excited to see all of the Christmas decorations! My husband is the biggest Christmas fan - lights, music, etc. Can't wait to see his reaction. This will be his first trip ever, our first trip together, and my first trip since I was about 9 years old. We will be staying in the CBR. YAY!

Just booked our Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner, for 12/15 at 4pm. It will be the 1st time either of have seen the show since we were kids. Afterwards, we can stroll around the campsites and take in how people have decorated their areas.

Looking forward to this. Especially the BBQ, corn bread, cheesy jokes and the music. Did I forget anything?

I am so excited I just booked a quick trip as a surprise birthday trip for my son he will be 11 and has done nothing but talk about wanting to go to back to Disney and ride the Tower of Terror. I had enough gift cards saved already for our big 25th wedding anniversary trip in 2016 to pay for this quick trip and my husband said book it, did not need to ask me twice
