If there is a specific room view that you want, I would book. If you are thinking of a cheaper view at Poly or Contemporary they tend to book up faster.

I'm booking a surprise for my kiddos. AKL CL Dec 4-12. They will be 13 and 2 and this is my daughter's "dream" resort. What a nice surprise that she gets to do it up club level style!

We are planning Dec 6th-11th 2010 for DH b-day! WL or POFQ depending on codes....I'm due to have our baby boy Feb 3rd and we're already planning our first trip with him (we havent even named him yet!)....am I a Disney Freak or what?????????

Congratulations! We are due with DD#2 on Jan 31 and we've planned her 1st visit at the WL for 12/4/10-12/11/10!! We'll see you at the kiddie pool if you're at WL!

My DH has won out and we win be doing December 2010. Looks like the 3th -11th. We are still trying to decide on where.... POR/CBR or All Star Sports (we normally stay there). We try to do something different (ie event) each time we go. While we have done the Christmas season before, DH loved it and now wants it to be the time we go all the time.
I love the idea of booking in advance, so not to feel the payment all at once. My question is for those of you who have booked before a deal/code/pin comes out, have you ever been denied the promo?
While we are going to go regardless if a deal comes out or not, I do wonder if I will be bothered missing out on a deal...

If you are already booked and a deal is released it can be applied to your reservation. Just keep in mind that when deals become available only a percentage of each resort's bookings are eligible for the discount. So you need to be on your toes, watch for the release of these deals and call ASAP. It is possible to call only to be told by the CM that the deal is "sold out" for your particular resort.

We are planning on going to WDW from either December 3-10/11 or December 4-10/11. We still haven't picked the resort for sure, b/c it depends on DH's parents making up their mind if they are coming with us. We are either going to stay at the CR in a MK view room, the WL, or the CSR. I'm hoping for a great code for next December. If not, at least we going to WDW.

Are you sure that's for 2009? I just tried those dates (Dec. 11-13, 2010) for a few different resorts and the online system is showing availability.

We are on board too for December 2010!! I am thinking December 16-20, either POP or POR depending on who we decide to bring with us! I will tweak the dates though to get free dining!

I just called Disney to check to see if I had a code and I do, 40% of deluxe. Booked the Polynesian Dec.7 - Dec.15, 2010 for 8 nights with nine day basic passes and the deluxe dining plan $3636.
I saved $1314.00. It can't get much better than that.
