so far the only thing they have listed has closed is
Dec 6-19 magic carpets will be closed for refrub.

This sucks thats one of my DD fav. ride!!!! and we travel dec 7th - 14th.

Hey Lillypie, looking at the mousesavers website, looks like they announced the following for December travel dates:

7/24/09 Free dining offered to Disney Visa Card holders
7/27/09 Free dining offered to the general public
7/27/09 Room Only discount offered to the general public and package discount offered to general public
9/28/09 Disney 4 for 7 deal offered to general public.

Got a pin e-mail from Disney - 2nd one

I've been going on weekly and saving various options for my dates

newest pin is Save 30%* at Select Disney Value Resorts
Save 35%* at Select Disney Moderate Resorts
Save 40%* at Select Disney Deluxe Resorts
Ask about great savings at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, too!


For stays most nights 2/15–3/27/10, 4/11–7/1/10, 7/5–10/7/10, 10/11–11/23/10 and 11/28–12/16/10.

Was your first one for early in the year? Just hoping that I get a second pin for December.

I got my 2nd pin today. It's the 20/30/40 pin code that is good until December 16th. I was really hoping for the 30/35/40 before I booked, but I may go ahead and book and then see if something better comes along. We were going regardless, so any little bit we save helps!

Well apparently the pin code I got, the 20/30/40 pin, does not apply for the AKL club level rooms the first 2 weeks of Dec. So bummed!! So we're going to keep our reservation and hope another code/pin pops up.

My fiance just got a pin code for the week we are going in December. I already booked our trip, but it's under my name. His name is also on the reservation as a guest. Here's my question: Is there anyway for his pin to be attached to my reservation? I know the pins are non-transferrable, but if he is one of the guests...

wELL....I sucked it up and just booked our vacation for 12/26-1/1. The rep told me there were no PINs for me for those dates BUT they just did an upgrade into the system which tells her that something good is coming...and to keep checking back to see if there are any PINs for my dates or look out for specials. woohoo!!!!

Trying to make a decision about going this Dec. Think we will. Probably around the 15th or 17th. Thinking of staying onsite for a few days, maybe 4? and then switching to offsite. We will do the World, but also the offsite resort and other stuff.

Am I correct to assume there will be no pins or discounts over the actual holiday time? Once I know my dates, I should just book it?

You should be able to apply this pin by calling them and explaining. If all else fails, have them cancel, and then rebook under your fiance's name and discount.

quick (somewhat complicated) question We are coming in Nov/Dec and staying at Pop. Our buget only allows for a value resort. Now through reading everyones posts I am kinda wanting to upgrade. I never thought I would even want to because the values are good enough for us! My question about pins. (and please forgive me for not wanting to do the footwork myself) would The pins for 20-30 and 40 drop the price of a Mod down to the price of a value? Again, please ignore my lack of research (I just quit smoking so my brain doesnt work ). I am debating the upgrade if the cost is similar to what we are already paying. We dont spend much time in our rooms if that matters. We are park people. We only used the pools once when we were there last. I just couldnt be torn away from the Magic! So, if anyone has done this please let me know. The only way would be if we could get it at Value prices with the pin! Thanks bunches!!!!

The pin code I got (have no idea what it was but suspect 20/30/40) changed the room cost if I remember right for the value without a code was about the same cost as the moderate with the code. it is just the two of us this time (no kids is it wrong to be happy)

value with no discount $82/night plus tax $92/night on weekends
moderate with 30% discount $104.30 plus tax $111.30 on weekends
value with 20% discount $65.60 plus tax $73.60 on weekends

That's exactly my thinking. I'm really crossing my fingers for free dining at some point during December!
