For that difference, I'd be all over the Contemporary Theme Park view. Everyone should do that at least once. It is so awesome to watch the fireworks from the balcony in your jammies. It's alwo awesome to wake up and see the castle in the early morning light in the distance.... LOVE that golden early morning light....

Got an email from Disney Destinations on 1/20/10 that I overlooked originally. After finding this board and researching until my wife called me crazy, I revisited the email and found a 15 digit PIN for 20%-40% off a stay at any of the on site resorts.

FYI: We sent for the planning DVD, and registered at the WDW site in 2009.

I called and asked some questions about the offer. They will let me discount the MYW tickets with this, and get the discounts applied on up to 3 different rooms. There's three groups in total (8 people) all going down in Dec.

Trying to talk my wife into upgrading to the Port Orleans, as I see it's the highest rated "moderate" level resort, and probably would be better for my folks, too.

I think you might've gotten worng info. The PINS won't discount the tickets.

The pin will discount the room only portion of your package. I WISH it took 30% off everything, really, really wish. But it will be the % off only on the room part of your reservation. Have a good trip!

I just got an email this morning for the 20/30/40% of room rate PIN. We want to go in September so this should work great for us. Here's the dates it gives in case anyone is wondering: For stays most nights 1/18–2/11/10,
2/15–3/27/10, 4/11–7/1/10, 7/5–10/7/10,
10/11–11/23/10 and 11/28–12/16/10.

We are going the 28th through the 7th or 8th.....Like you I am checking ym email ALL THE TIME!!!!!!! No pins no nothing........I feel so......forgotten.lol. I wish we could figure out the rhyme or reason behind who gets the pins! Im pretty sure they wont send me one cause they know that I am dead-set on this trip and pin or no pin I will be there!

I got one of those Disney Destination emails yestereday with the resort info in it. I wish I could get something good. I really think free dining would be the best for us in Dec, but if I could get anything, I could perhaps persuade DH a little more into it. He is considering the trip now...well I mentioned it to him and he said it's a thought, but we have to see how things go this summer. Hey it's a start! Plus I have DD on my side who constantly keeps asking him when are we going to Disney again!
