The *OFFICIAL* CVS Thread - Post your CVS deals/questions here. *UPDATED OP*

I just had to make a second call to customer care about not getting all my ECBs..... I think this may be more trouble than it's worth

I've had to call customer service several times this month to check on my ECB's - twice I was told that there was a glitch and they would show up the next day, which they did and twice for some reason they didn't credit what I bought but they fixed it for me and were very nice about it.

Making one, two or even one call a week to customer service is no big deal when your getting so much merchandise for FREE or close to FREE! :)

My problem isn't a glitch per se, it's a matter of a cashier messing up and scanning both my card and the courtsey card. My quarter spending still isn't right and I don't think it's going to be right.

My CVS, even with ECB is more expensive on most items than walgreens, target and wal-mart so I think I'll stick with the others

My work computer won't let me install the coupon printer. =( And my printer at home is broken. Is there any other way to get the coupons in the links provided? Can someone email them to me by any chance or will that not work?? I just want some coupons.... *pouting in my cubicle*

If you want to PM to me which you want and your email addy, I can print and send to you via pdf - if your work computer has the ability to read Adobe files you should be able to print that way.

Does anyone know of some coding or something that would make this not possible?

I've never had to call customer service because of missing ECB. I think its your cashier. Make sure you do NOT let her scan a different card!!

Even if the items are cheaper at Walgreens, etc. when you get things free with ECB and coupons, I think its worth it to do CVS.

can someone email me the coupons as my computer won't let me print them? =( My email is madbailoATtdsDOTnet

thank you in advance!! =)

It's a Happy Day, what do you think about doing the thread with a weekly theme? Like the freebies of the week with a link to last weeks (in case anyone had something they needed to check). It would make it easier to find the ways that people are sweetening the deal so to speak. I'm new to the ECB's. Without your OP and everyone else's help I never would have figured on saving that much money. Thanks so much.

I have thought of the weekly thread like the freebie thread (LOVE that thread!) but the only issue I couldn't come up with a solution to was the fact that "new" people who want to learn about the program and get involved, etc. are going to repeat the beginner questions answered in the 1st few posts. If others think that a new thread every week would work better, I'm all for it. I know I have clicked on page 12 and rifled through several posts to find the "new" stuff. I was trying to come up with a way to have all the CVS threads grouped together instead of 12 people posting the same questions in 12 different threads kind of stuff. Whatever way works best for all I say :goodvibes It's all about helping each other save $$$

Some people have expressed an interest into changing this thread into a weekly thread - new thread each week with a link to the previous weeks posts. Tonight I have cut & pasted several FAQ's into a word document regarding the ECB program. It is quite lengthy and I can add it to the original post for a few weeks but then I figured I would add a comment to the OP that if anyone needs the basic information they could PM me and I could forward that info to them :confused3 This way each week will only have tips, questions, and helpful tidbits regarding that weeks sales instead of everyone trying to figure out where they left off. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would love the input on how to make the ECB thread a winner and save us all lots of $$$ :cool1:

How about you PM Beth and/or Lisa if we can make CVS FAQ a sticky!! :flower3:

Its a Happy Day, a FAQ sticky sounds like a great idea! I think you would be signing up for a lot of work PM'ing everyone. You're so nice to offer though.

I think that would be a great idea. It gets a bit tedious wading through pages until I find the new posts. (I can never remember where I left off!)

anyone know the CVS corporate phone number?? For the second week in a row, my local CVS was very rude to me and I am tired of it. I kind of shrugged it off last week, but after this week, I am pi$$ed off and upset. I think their behavior warrants a call to the corporate office. =(

I don't know their phone number off the top of my head, but it is on their website cvs.com-you could also send them an email from the site, if that works better for you. Good luck in getting your issues resolved!

FWIW, I've had great luck using the "contact us" on CVS' website.

If you encounter a rude employee call the customer service while you are in the store.

Since I very rarely have any great budget ideas or CVS deals to share, I just wanted to thank you so much for maintaining this thread! It is a big job and I appreciate your doing it. You have saved me at least $40 in 2 weeks!!
