Clay is going to be singing on Miss America this Sat.

I was at the York Fair concert Thursday night and he was wonderful. He told all of us he loves us. 10,000 people were there. The concert just went by so fast. This was my second time to see him and he just gets better every time I see him.

He also said he was going to be at Miss America on Sat. I read where he is going to be singing an upbeat version of "There she is"

Both his mom and Brett were with him at the concert. His mom sat in the first row and people were coming up talking to her and getting autographs.

Anxious for his Christmas album to come out. I will be buying the Aladdin DVD on 10/5. My 2 favorite things Clay and Disney.

one of my co-workers just came up here...she asked me if i saw clay on miss america (duh!)...i said of course. she proceeded to tell me that she didn't think he did that great! i told her, um, he was right on. and she responds, spoken like a true fan. um, no...he WAS right on! geesh...do you guys ever have to defend clay?! lol

i'm still on a high from the evansville show. it was just the most amazing night...too bad they were such camera hounds at this one. they were searching bags for cameras. only disposables allowed this time. i was sitting way too far away for a disposable camera anyway... oh well!

did anyone catch the Relly Awards on regis and kelly last week? clay won for best musical guest...he did an acceptance speech live via satellite from raleigh. it was cute!

and don't forget...clay's book, learning to sing, will be out in november. make sure to buy your copies within the 1st two weeks it's released so it can make the NY Times bestseller list!! from what i understand, he's also recording the audio version of the book. i think i'm buying both the book and the audio cds! but the unabridged version, of course! there's been snippets of the book circulating the other message boards out there. just one tiny section about his birth father envokes so much emotion. i can't wait for this book!!

and i can't wait for the christmas cd either!! woo hoo!!!

I've heard that his rendition isn't actually on the cd.

Supposedly, it's the Alan Menken version (with him singing it instead of Clay). I haven't investigated yet (I have the song downloaded and burned already), but that's the rumor. Hopefully it's a false one.

I don't know the details yet, but a friend of mine heard on Kiss 95.7 that it was just confirmed. I really hope it's HIS Christmas tour, and not just THEIR Christmas show. Cause those always suck.

Really?!?! I wonder where. He came to Foxwoods a few months ago. I'm on the other side of the state, so it wasn't convienent for me.

There is an AWFULLY NICE new arena in Bridgport....

I agree, Kimberle. A little Fairfield County action would be MUCH appreciated!!

Foxwoods was amazing and all, but it was a LOT of Mass. and Rhode Island folks, which creates a different vibe. The "New York" portion of the state gets a little more revved up then the "Bahston" side. (Pinstripe envy runs pretty deep!! )

Anyhoo, I'll post as soon as I hear anything confirmed as far as details go - I feel like it should be either Bridgeport or Oakdale...I can't imagine him doing the Civic Center. Maybe Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods again, but...well...I hope not lol.

Does anyone know when dates for the Christmas tour are coming out? I really would love if he could come to Pittsburgh so I don't have to drive to Ohio for the third time! Not that it wouldn't be worth it.

Does anyone ever hear anything about the "other" idols such as Ruben or Fantasia? I haven't heard "squat" about them for so long. All I hear about are Clay, Kim L, and Kelly.

didn't the AI tour end recently? that's probably why you don't hear anything about this year's bunch...wait a bit til the cd's are released...

ruben..the last i heard about him was when he was on tour. a tour bus (not the one he was on) got busted for drugs of some sort...

i only ever hear about clay!! i hear kelly on the radio all the time...hear kimberley every now and then...but i'm constantly hearing/seeing something about clay!

Ruben is on some sort of Diet program connect with one of the (many) Entertainment shows. And he is supposedly going to release a gospel album next.

I have heard very little about this years group.

Sorry I'm a little slow on the uptake but this is cool ! I hope it is just a Clay Christmas tour, that would be soooo neat!

Has anyone picked up their Aladdin DVD yet? We're going to pick it up on Saturday (my birthday ). I think I'll watch the bonus features before the movie .
