I have been following the thread over on claytonaiken.com about Muskifest. I was so hoping to go to the concert as it is less than 2 hours from my house. However, it has become like a feeding frenzy to get tickets and they aren't even on sale yet. Maybe I should just go to the Ohio State Fair in Columbus. Last year I went to Ohio for conference and only paid $70 R/T airfare on SWA

While AI2's runner up has turned out to be an unqualified success, I don't think AI1 has fared as well. I was watching Hollywood Squares last night and Justin Guarini was one of the guest celebrities

Just found out about this thread and had to come say hi.

Ironically, pre-Clay I was on the Dis CONSTANTLY, since Clay I only came because I have a trip to plan because I've been so busy at all the other Clay boards. Who knew I could have both in one place!!

I actually came back here to the Dis because I'm heading to California next Monday from NJ to see Clay at Staples followed by a DL trip and saw someone on the DL board with the Clay fans on Dis siggie. Can someone tell me how to get that??? Thanks so much!!

I'll be sure to post after my trip!

I have to admit, I lurk here from time to time, but never post... I have to say I am so thrilled I looked in here because since my husband got rid of the Dispatch, I had no idea he was playing at The Ohio State Fair and for only $25! So I am glad I peaked!!

Brandie, so sorry about the seizure... I sure hope you are feeling better and the doc can help you out!

I'm in Clay withdrawal too, this years American Idol is just not doing it for me without Clay.

I can't even go see him in concert since he's not performing at the Meadowlands. Oh well, maybe next year.

ShuisFan584, where in NJ are you from, wish I knew you sooner I'm in Central Jersey and drove to Philly, NY and Wilkes. I'll be going out Bethlehem too if you want to go to that concert.


phisigprincess, I'm Phi Sig sister too but from MANY years ago from Rutgers.

Regarding fixes, yeah...Clay's just busy on the road I guess. I'm flying out to LA for vacation and will see him then, not sure if they allow cameras but if they do I'll have more pics if that helps a little.

I'm in Passaic County and the Meadowlands is where I always go for concerts. The closest place is Nassau and my mom doesn't want me driving there with my sister.

Well my offer stands to both of you, lsyorke and ShuisFan584, if either of you want to meet and carpool out to Bethlehem I'm driving out there definitely.

Also, I just heard from Redhottopic that he'll be part of the Good Morning America summer concerts, no date announced yet though.

I doubt he'll do Meadowlands this summer, it doesn't look like he's doing arenas for the solo leg but PNC is a remote possibility, we can hope. (Have they announced their schedule yet?).

i just found out on red hot that there's an UNCONFIRMED date for the indiana state fair of aug 16!!!!! oh i certainly hope that date gets confirmed!!!!!!!!!! i had my own cellcert from the DC concert, but that's just not enough!!

i'm doing alright, by the way...i guess i forgot to fill you guys in! they ran a bunch of tests and found nothing out of the ordinary. i do go to the neurologist tomorrow though. i think they have a few more tests to run on me there....i'll keep you posted!

Rumor has it that Clay will perform as part of the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on July 2nd. These are the outside concerts by the ABC studios. I'll post again once the date is confirmed!!

I heard something disturbing about Clay on the radio today. Don't read this post if you don't want to hear this "rumour" about Clay..............

I heard this on the morning show of my local radio station. I've never heard something false or incorrect on this show so that's why I'm a little disturbed by this. This is what they said. When Clay did "Regis & Kelly" a while back, he was given some snacks/beverages back stage. Well, he wanted coke but they only had pepsi. Well, according to the story (again, don't know if it's true), Clay threw a fit and demanded someone get him coke. Well, someone did leave and go to a local store for some coke and when they came back, Clay said that he/she took too long so he changed his mind and decided to drink the pepsi. The radio announcers said this was a sign that all his success had gone to his head......
Now I'm hoping beyond hope this is a silly rumour!! Has anyone else heard this? It doesn't fit his character. It just seems so silly.
