Full report has arrived

Clay returned home to a sold out crowd.
First I have to say that Clay has always been like a cute little brother in my mind...after tonight...not so. He's a true SEX symbol!!
Concert started out with the Beu sisters. Pretty good..the sound quality could be better. They sang about 4 songs.
Kelly was up next. I think she honestly knew that over 80% of the people there didn't really care about hearing her sing. However...she still sang the whole set. I really like her sound and her quirkiness(sp?). She sang all of her cd songs and the jazz song from the AI show. Miss Independent was her last song and third outfit change. She was wearing a t-shirt that said "I love Clay" and someone gave her a Claymate button. Very cute!
There was a 10 minute break and then Clay's set. The stage alone is spectacular!!!! The band and backup singers started the set...and from the opposite end of the arena he walked out and down the side up to the stage. He looked like a true STAR!! The girls were screaming their heads off. I did feel a little sorry for the older ladies around me. They were holding their ears and/or had ear plugs in. Can't tell you which order he sang the songs in...b/c I don't remember...I was taken by his voice and presence on the stage. He ended one song...and as he was about to begin the next..he grabbed a cell phone from the crowd. Jody from Syracuse was on the line...crowd was going nuts...he hold up one finger..and said "shhh..I'm on the phone" I cracked up!! He talked to her then gave the phone back...started the song (I think it was When you say you love me)..then went back..picked up the phone and sang to Jody. That was SO great. Moments later he brought a little girl up on the stage with him...that was just adorable. The acoustic set was probably my favorite though. That's where you can really hear the depth of his talent. He reaches in and produces this deep voice that made my heart go pitter patter.

After he sang those...he broke into a Prince song, "When Doves Cry". I was a little shocked that he did a couple of bump and grind moments with a backup singer...but..to be honest....it made him even more sexier!! His last song was "The Way"....he goes back stage...the screams are high...and out he pops for one more song...a duet with Kelly. My mind just went blank..I can't remember the song title...they sing beautifully together.
This was the best concert I've been to in several years**even beats Tim McGraw**!!!! I bought 1 t-shirt, 2 key chains, and 1 mini poster...total of $45.00 I REALLY wanted the teddy bear but it was $20.00
For those of you going to upcoming shows...camera's ARE allowed!! I didn't think they were so I didn't take mine
Off to bed now to dream of Clay!!
