Kylene...you crack me up...lol

I'm up! But I'm at work...I had GMA on in the break area, but I couldn't watch as I had a situation that I had to deal with...but I taped it at home and will watch it later! He sounded good as always!

And I forced DH, against his will I might add, to download the CD this morning before we left for work so that I could have it on my iPod today! I heard about half of the CD on the drive in...I 'll plug my iPod in to the speakers here as soon as I don't have swarms of people all around my desk!

I was having some serious flashbacks while listening to the CD this morning. When the song When I See You Smile came on...I remember sitting in the back of my friend's van after our youth group had just seen a movie together...I was back there with my now-DH )) and he was singing that song in my ear. Still gives me goosebumps to this day!

I taped GMA, and haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I'm very excited to watch it!!

I bought the CD after work today, and listened to about half of it on the way home. So far, it doesn't have the 'wow' factor that MOAM had, but I'm still enjoying it.

Now, to download the free song from KMart.

We "fired" Earthlink about 3 weeks ago. It kept freezing up, dropping us, etc. Very frustrating..... Got cable hooked up today. They were suppost to come last week, but didn't show.

I'm sssssooooo glad to get "connected" again!!

P.S. I got Clay's new CD at Walmart tonight. Have only listened to the first song so far. Friday, I'm going to a "fancy" spa in upstate CT for a 40th b-day party. I'm planning to listen on my drive.

For those of you guys who downloaded it from iTunes, how's the bonus track? I have dial up, so there's no way I'm purchasing the album for download....maybe if they release just that one song, if I can't find it anywhere else. Debi, how was the KMart track?

I've been busy going to cd realease parties and listening to OMC to post, but I just have to tell you, the extra song is well worth it. Lover All Alone is the title, and it was co-written by Clay. The first time I listened to it I was stunned, the second time I listened to it I cried -- and I don't cry easily! I too was worried about the fact that the album was going to be all love songs, but ever since I started listening, I can't stop!!

I have to agree with you Merlib, I just bought the album via Itunes just for the extra song... I cried when I heard it, TWICE... I feel that this is the one song on the album that gives us an insight into Clay himself... that may sound odd, but I really feel the song represents him and his situation... Anyhow, I didn't know that he helped to write the song?

Course my biggest question is why didn't they put this song on the general album, it's a really great song...

Just popping in to remind everyone that Clay will be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight!!

Oh, and also...supposedly Clay has the #1 album, as reported by HDD. Soundscans won't be official until I think tomorrow (or, at least, later today). I want to be excited about it for Clay, but the Claymates have so soured me on what "#1" means, I really don't care. I mean, to me, there's something wrong about gloating that he's in the top spot when he got there by Claymates buying - literally - 10, 15, 20 albums each.

I would've thought it was an exaggeration, if I hadn't seen pictures myself.

To me, that's padding the numbers. And, to me, that's like buying every ticket to a show just to make it sold out...big deal, you sold the place out. Does it really matter if there's no one in the audience?

Kylene, I know. These "fans" are going to end up bringing Clay "down".... I wish they'd just step back, Clay will do just fine on his own.

P.S. His CD is good. I still would really like him to make a CD of orginal music in "his" style.

Clay will be on Larry King Live TONIGHT (September 26th).

TUNE IN!!

(Oh, and it's official...Clay is #2 this week...Justin is #1.)

Kim, I agree with you...I think the cd would have sold much better with more original songs and some upbeat choices, instead of the Delilah Love Song Collection. I like it, and I love to hear him sing those songs, but even I've been switching to other stuff after a few repeats.

I wonder if they realized it too...he's been performing A Thousand Days the last few appearances....

Yup, Clay sold 205,000 CD's last week for the #2 spot. JT sold 217,000.

Kylene, I totally agree with you. While Clay's new CD is good, I'd much rather not hear him sing someone else's song. I did get bored with the CD after the first few songs. As much as I love Clay, I hate to say that I think he made a mistake by changing his CD mid-stream; the songs I heard him perform during the JBT last summer were soooo much better.

Kylene - you're killin' me - I've had the same reaction about the hair. I like it better now, but it's still not the spikes. But I can deal.

I was AT GMA...well, ok, I was OUTSIDE the GMA studio, but did get to hear Clay sing. We stood outside for a while waiting for him to leave, but I had to get to work.

Haven't bought the CD yet. Guess I'm the reason he's #2 this week.

It's all cause of YOU, Cookie!!! He could've been #1!! You are hereby DEAD to all Claymates around the world who went out of their way to buy dozens of albums to help Clay's cause, and here you couldn't even get one. *shakes finger at you*
