(Yes, Clay. That's who showed up in my inbox, so that's why I am now having a heart attack. They really need to stick "Fan Club" on those things.)

Woohoo! My birthday is October 8, so this would be a great birthday present for me to get those Camden tickets.

I also got that e-mail from Clay Aiken, and nearly fell off my chair. You're right, the e-mail should have been from the CA fan club, not Clay himself.

We were able to get tickets for Council Bluffs and Kansas City. We're waiting for the Chicago ones to go on sale. Anybody else going to these concerts? Also, we have extra tickets for KC if anyone is interested.

Still sucks that I will miss yet another JNT... I wish I could plan a quick trip to one in my area, but it's so hard to plan for anything when my sister is due with her first baby at that time and I'll be going out there ASAP for her...

Brandie, I'm sorry this tour isn't working out for you, but atleast you get a new niecephew (assuming you're not sure which) out of the deal!! You always get such good seats to see him, the rest of us have to live vicariously through you!! I wonder who'll be the lucky one to be up close and personal this time around! *crosses fingers*

I'm in a similar predicament about a Disney trip I wanted to plan. My birthday (in March) is on a Friday this year, and I really wanted to take a quick weekend trip down with a couple friends. My oldest friend in the WORLD, however, is due with her first baby that week and I don't want to not be here for it.

No "official" news yet, but he's been teasing us with his fan club blogs. Apparently they're working on something, and we'll hear about it "soon". Which, in Clay time, could be anytime between today and NEVER.

Supposedly, however, they're going to be re-releasing the Christmas album at the end of October with a new track on it. I loved the album last year, and I WILL buy another cd if they rerelease it with a new track. I feel like I've got a bunch of (reluctant) new Clay fans in my circle who could benefit from a little Clay Holiday cheer!!

Niecephew?

She's a niece...Ella to be exact! I can't wait to meet her!!! She's already the world's most spoiled little girl!

My sister is convinced that she'll go into labor on Nov 18. See...that's the night of the release of the next Harry Potter movie and that'll be the only shot she gets to see it before the baby is born. If she doesn't see it then, she won't get to see it until it comes out on DVD!

So...if it goes that way, I just may be in KC on the 19th! BUT with my luck, the dang show will be sold out...lol

Ok, here's to replying....

Brandie, congratulations on Ella!! Very cute name, and I've no doubt you'll have a niece to match. And, hey, niecephew works for me!! Not all of us have pregnant folks "considerate" enough to find out if their first child is a boy or a girl (which makes the spoiling MUCH easier)!!

My friend (whose child will be my niece or nephew in title, if not in blood) isn't finding out, so I tell her it's my niecephew. It's easy to spoil though, so I hear you on that.

And you know, I'd would make me laugh so hard if you report back to us that she went to a midnight showing of GoF, her water broke halfway through, and she insisted on waiting to go to the hospital until after the credits roll!!

I do hope you get to see Clay, though. Maybe a cellcert for Baby Ella.

To everyone trying for tickets tomorrow - GOOD LUCK. Debi, I'm trying for NYC ones, but I bet I'll be reporting back to you that tickets weren't impressive. I think you'll do fine on Saturday morning - after all, you'll have the BIRTHDAY magic to help ya out!!

Cookie, you've got a tough decision to make. In theory, the Camden show should be easier to get better seats to ("schoolnight" makes travel less attractive for out of staters and it's not a NYC show which tends to sell anyways), but with Clay, theory tends to go out the window. So good luck whatever you choose.

By the way, guys - if it's any indication of what's been on my brain lately, I've had three consecutive nights of Clay dreams (and yes, all of them have been family friendly ). I hope that means we'll all be holding good seats in our hot little hands in the next couple of weeks!!

So any word on when a new album (not counting the rumored christmas re-release) is expected?

I really really wanted to see him in concert but at close to $100 each it is just out of my reach. I am really hoping that they will release a concert dvd, I would deffiently purchase that.
