The Official Christmas Can't Come Sooner Thread

To counteract unChristmas cheer (already!) can anybody NOT wait for Christmas to come? Does anybody have their tree up? Anybody playing XMas music already?

I'm playing Christmas music right now on Comcast TV...they have a "Sound of the Season" channel and I thought, what the heck, let me see what they are playing...it's "Let it Snow"...so I'm cleaning to Christmas music!!

I wrapped my girls gifts yesterday! I pulled out my Christmas cards too. I'll have them ready to go before our Disney Trip November 25!

I LOVE Christmas. It's my favorite holiday right up there with Easter. I love everything about it. I love all the traditions and festivities.

I'm heading out to Boston today to go to the Christmas Crafts Festival at the World Trade Center...another annual tradition.

I'm so glad you started this thread, after I saw the other one, this one cheered me up!!

I like Christmas a lot even though there's a lot NOT to like about Christmas. If you know what I mean. Family issues and high costs are problems for me.

But in spite of that I want to enjoy Christmas, whatever it takes. It's really a beautiful time of year once you peel away the hassles.

I don't have my tree up yet but have started on the Christmas cards and found myself humming some Christmas carols yesterday.

I do love Christmas Day and being with my DH, kids and other family. I love the traditions we have and the get-togethers with family and friends. I love the snow outside and the warmth inside. l love baking tons of goodies and passed them out to friends, neighbors, and DH's co-workers. I love seeing houses with tons of twinkling lights on them and Santa up on the roof. I love all the Christmas movies especially the original Grinch cartoon which, at the age of 34, still makes me tear up.

I love the Christmas season and am so happy to be approaching one of my most favortite times of the year. My tree does not go up until after Thanksgiving as with decorating the rest of the house, but I am looking forward to it. I have started Christmas shopping and getting the old Christmas card list ready to go, but beyond that nothing else.

None of the above--we are traveling for the holidays and our tradition is Thanksgiving is when the stuff goes up. I was going to bypass that this year--but I have a friend making a holiday children's DVD and she asked us to shoot some b-roll footage. This now compells me to decorate. Aahhhh.

(and not--it isn't bah humbug that has me not wanting to decorate..it is that we leave so early for our holiday away from home--fly back and then 1 day later head over to WDW for Marathon weekend. My stuff wouldn't be coming down until mid-January).

I'm ready because the sooner christmas comes the sooner our WDW trip comes! Also, I think DS will be really excited this year! I think he'll be able to sorta understand the whole santa thing. Last year he was excited to get his new toys, but I still don't think he totally understood. This year, I think we'll be able to explain santa to him and get him excited!

I have bought and wrapped all my gifts and have written a load of my cards! I bought a few more decorations during the week too but they won't go up for another 3 weeks yet. I can't wait for Christmas this year as I will be in WDW for Christmas and New Year, whooooo!!
I have the Dis holiday background set on my Dis screen as well which looks great!!

I LOOOOOVE Christmas!!!!!

It's actually the ONLY holiday I like, so struggling thru Halloween and Thanksgiving is worth it to get to December!!! Bring on the holly!!!!

I love Christmas!! While we don't put up the tree or decorations until the weekend of Thanksgiving I will start to watch the Grinch, and the Santa Clause 1 & 2... They are movies I will watch over and over again until Christmas!! So excitied!!
