Anyone watch HSN and the Perlier line they sell on it? Is the BAchelor the son of the Perlier lady (who is a princess)? He looks similar to her other son (also on HSN). I *think* it's the same last name too.

I read somewhere that he has been on HSN hawking the line.

That was just SAD. Obviously to enhance the storyline, no doubt.

I was sooooo sure she would be picked, but he didn't seem to be attracted to the Italian woman as much as the VERY American ones. As usual he was most interested in the ones who paid the most attention to HIM, typical!

The tree hugger made me change the channel... ugh... and SHE got the rose. There is NO accounting for taste here, is there??? And her typical girly dream of having it all by 27.... man, I cannot tell you how many dreams I've seen screwed by THAT dream!!

I did not watch the entire show either, but I did see this, she told him she was a tree hugger and they went outside and she taught him how to hug a tree!!! It was so funny. He had no idea what it was all about.

count me in. I've watched every season. I'm half embarrassed/half proud that I've stuck it out. It's definitely a train wreck, and I can't help but watch.

I watched it also. While watching the begining with the recaps of all the other Bachelor seasons, I wonder if that professional fisherman (I think his name was Byron)and the lady who Bob let go are still together.
Those girls seemed more interested in the diamond earrings than him! He is a tad bit geeky.

I'm really bummed that I missed that it was even premiering...
I'm so busy that I don't watch much tv, but like the Bachelor. I was disappointed in how last season just "ended"...
I would have watched, but didn't even know it was on. So... I will subscribe and maybe catch up through this thread!

I saw them on some show a few months ago and yes, they are still together. I believe they are getting married next month.

The only other ones that are still together are Ryan and Trista, and Charlie and Sarah (?).

Anyways - I was invited to do a survey today on the show. A lot of the questions were along the lines of:

- What did you think of the pace of the show (too slow, etc)
- What did you think of the idea of the bachelor being a prince
- Do the girls on this show seem like they're trying to find love or to get a job in tv

etc, etc...

Very interesting survey. At least they acknowledge the fact that most, if not all, of the girls seem to be on the show just to jumpstart a "career." I stopped taking this show seriously a long time ago, but still watch it just simply due to the snark factor. It's still entertaining even if the entire premise of the show never seems to work out!

And count me in as one who didn't find the prince all that charming...

I would tell them that The Bachelor needs to spend more time getting to know the girls. What is the hurry? It takes forever for it to air and the Bachelor always picks the girls that went on one-on-one dates. Let him get to really know the girls if they want a romance to last. The could still edit it. Look at how quickly Big Brother can edit live 24/7 feed!

Agreed! They spend so much time repeating what you've already seen, or what you're going to see, that it seems like the show is in fast-forward or rewind.

I'm sitting here doing some work with the TV on but not really listening until I hear the SQUEAKY voice of Erika. I swear she eats helium!

Tell me she didn't really say, "I can't believe that he's more privileged than I am and doesn't judge people! Why doesn't he judge people!!??!!"

Somebody needs to seriously smack this girl into some realm of reality. Although so far she is the only thing that made me notice what was on TV...granted I was LMAO at her but she did get my attention.

I searched for this thread and it's good to know I'm not the only one who thinks the girls are not "all there."

I'm glad he kept her because she is so funny. And what is funny is that she doesn't know she is funny! Tree hugger is weird. I liked her last week, not so much this week. I want Sadie to win it all. Baby needs to go, baby! And I loved them teaching the Italian girl how to say y'all! I liked Kim until she got drunk! She didn't just fall asleep on the beach! I rather enjoyed the show tonight!
