Two weeks from today: We'll be having a mid-day break about this time after spending the morning at AK.

Put your MagicBands in an easily reached place so that you can slip them on before you get to the Magical Express. We always put them on in the airport monorail.

I have both mine and hubby’s in my crossbody purse.

We put our magic bands on after we go through security at the airport. lol Then we take airport selfies with our bands.

Oh man I love RBX capris. I didn't even think to look to see if they made skorts. I'll have to remember that if I like the skorts I ordered.

Hi August Peeps! Just dropping by to let you know.....

Disney has just announced that Walt Disney World guests will be able to join in on the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Disneyland’s version of The Haunted Mansion on August 9th.

While all guests will have access to this merchandise starting with the special event on August 9, guests attending Disney Villain After Hours on August 8 will have access to certain items in advance.

Soooo jealous!!!! Have a great time at WDW!

I won't be bringing any pants. I'll have a pair of capris that I will likely travel in, just with different shirts. We'll each have a lightweight jacket for the airport, airplane and AC in restaurants. My daughter travels in leggings.

Park days will be shorts and t-shirts. And shirts for me and ds will mostly be the kind that wick moisture away. Dd likes to do a Disney shirt every day; but I tried to find some that are really light weight.

The wife switched over to the pocketbook she will be using in Disney, and has packed most of her personal bag. I have packed pretty much everything but the last minute bits. I have my personal bag organized with paperwork, and items we will need right when we get there in it's outside pocket (like the car rental confirmation, our Disney gift cards, and my GPS), and then other things that are absolutely necessary (such as my medicine) but that I don't need quick access to are in the main compartment. Now, it is largely just a waiting game for Tuesday morning to get here.

How fun! I won't be there until Aug 27th so I'm really crying a river of tears missing this event! Be sure to get your Magic Shots! So so wish I could be there

I have finalized my "pile" to pack. No woman is bringing pants right ?? !! I have 3 capris and 2 dresses (doing laundry between off site and on site). Feels weird not one pair of pants or even a sweatshirt (though do have a lightweight sweater for dinner if the AC is too cold)

Now on to DDs pile. This will be tough because I love all her "good" clothes and want to bring everything! Last night I was at Walmart picking up Tide Pods and After Sun lotion. I walked past the craft section and saw adorable Disney buttons. So tempting to buy them and rip off all the buttons of all her clothes and sew these on . Luckily there is no time for that. If I had seen them a couple of weeks ago I would have done it for sure!!

Definitely no pants! I'm usually a big capri wearer in real life, but I will only bring one pair for hanging out in the room. It's just so hot! LOL. Wicking shorts only for this girl!

We usually put ours on once we are settled at our gate at the airport.

Nope, no pants! Plenty of shorts and a dress or two. In keeping with my new "less is more" approach this trip, not bringing a sweater either. I'm taking my chances, and will just endure any cold restaurants until returning to the sauna outside!

I got an email, too. Crowd levels went up on all but one of our days.

Same here. It's all a guessing game, right? We'll just go with the flow!

One week from today .... Animal Kingdom- FP's for FOP, Dinosaur and Expedition Everest. Supper at Rainforest Cafe (Love being Landry card holders - birthday credits and priority seating). Staying for the evening to see the Tree of Light show.

Two weeks from today ... checking into POLY (first time) and going to MNSSHP (first time) and going to plaza dessert party!!!

I had a feeling. Ive seen a ton of last minute booking for the AP Star Wars event. I didnt think it would effect anything until around the 15th, but its also Gay Days week of the 12th, so I expect crowds to be high.

I was wondering if this might happen. I've seen a lot of discussions about last minute trips.
