we are leaving Tuesday morning. have 1 more quick question. we arrive at lunch time at MCO. the kiddos will def be hungry. if we wanted to eat in the terminal first before heading to DME, will they still grab our bags and get them to the hotel? We would be making our way to the DME kiosk about an 45 minutes after landing.

No problem! Your checked bags are on a totally different trip! They will get there whether you stop for lunch or not. Most likely even with your lunch stop they will arrive well after you so be sure to toss your bathing suit and whatever else you might need into your carry-on. You can stop at your hotel and check your carry-on into bell services if you wish.

We arrive Tuesday morning too! Though our flight gets in mid-morning. Safe travels!

We arrived yesterday after a long 18 hours in the car but we made it safe and aound. Got to POR room wasn't ready so hung at the pool then did Disney Spring at night. Magic Kingdom today!!

So tempting! We will likely book at POP, but might not keep it. We have a 12 night Mediterranean Cruise booked (plus additional nights at Barcelona) for late July/early August next year. But maybe just a quick 6 night/ 7 day trip mid-August Oldest DD will be going to University in late August 2017, so not sure what we can swing! Gotta go shake the money tree

I think we will book the fd bb for early July at Pop. It's incentive to upgrade to annual passes this year.

The cruise will be lovely, and DD's are at a good age to appreciate Greece/Mediterranean, but I'm gonna miss Disney next year Really going to try hard to make the bounceback work for POP... you never know. I am so jealous of your annual passes again

Just finished our 2nd full day and came back to POR around 3:30, the heat is horrible, however just had a quick 5 minute shower so hopefully that will cool things down. The pavement walking is like smoking tar....crowds are very low, can't believe it is the first week in August here and crowds like this. I will post a little update on theme park strategies forum. We are eating tonight at Trail's End soon.

I agree crowds are low. We did DHS today and it was nice. The morning until noon is fine temp wise. After that it is HOT until the sun starts to set.

Getting excited now! Katiz is arriving on the 9th of August until the 16th and staying at the CBR. It's a week away and I can't wait to pack up the suitcase and head to the airport!!
