Thinking about booking for Easter break this April. I gave up booking a few months ago because new expenses came up, but now the spring discount they're offering makes it seem like a go for me. I'll post when it's official. Nervous because I've never booked so close to departure before and we haven't been there since 2009!

I have vacation coming up in July also but I'd prefer the April weather!

I just recently booked as well for Easter time. So looking forward to better temps than what we had in August.

My daughter and I both agreed that we will avoid that month lol.

We booked for 4/19-4/27 back in November at POFQ. We were going to get our tickets through another source, but then changed our plans and booked everything through Disney (which always works beautifully). I'm concerned about the crowding, but DD5 is out of school then and we decided to exchange crowds for better weather than we'll get in summer.

Last time we were at WDW was May of 2012, for one day at MK prior to a Disney cruise. Otherwise, last time I was there was before either HS or AK were opened! We did DLR last year and had a great time, so doing WDW right will be even better! I'm doing my research so we have an effective touring plan, planning my FP+ carefully, and studying these boards - knowledge is power!

Just starting planning a trip to WDW for myself and my sister's family.

We've stayed in the past at the Beach Club Villas and at the Formosa Gardens. Both were great but because my nephew is disabled and travels with all that disabled gear (wheelchair, dietary restrictions), offsite wins out.

We're a little worried about the changes to the GAC but have decided to go for it since Sean enjoyed his previous 2 trips so much.

I booked my FP+ and ADRs according to PM magic hours-- was that a mistake? My DH is a late sleeper, so I thought we could stay a little later @ parks. We are traveling w/our sons---ages 6 & 9.

Congrats! I don't think it is a mistake if that is how your family will tour better!

Hey hey! We are going the EXACT same dates as you are. We had initially planned to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort but when we booked it last night, Port Orleans Riverside was available so we booked that resort instead. This is going to be awesome!

Thanks! We visited in June 2012--very crowded, so I'm hoping for smaller crowds and better weather (Tropical Storm Debby)--I've never experienced. So much rain!

That's pretty cool! POR was our other choice. I'm so excited! We're surprising our kids--so difficult to keep secret.

We tried keeping this trip a secret from our kids but that only lasted about a day lol. I think we are more excited than they are. I read your other post above stating that this trip is your do-over trip? That's kind of our situation too. Our last trip was in 06 and my wife was sick for the majority of the trip so we couldn't really do anything. She was so sick that she had to be shuttled from the Wilderness Lodge to the clinic. Yea, hopefully this time around we all arrive at the world healthier.

DH and I are trying to keep it secret from DD. Well kind of. We haven't told her were going but she constantly sees me on MDE. Once she figures it out she will say "I knew it". DS is still to young to understand but once he figures it out he will be ecstatic.
