2. How long will your trip to Disneyland Resort take?

Around 19 hours, we are instead of flying now.


3. Is this your first trip to Disneyland Resort?

Yes


4. Who are you traveling / vacationing with this time.

Midori my DD, her BF Lucy, Lucy's Mother Kathleen and myself (Bob)


5. Are you and your Family celebrating a special occasion?

YES, YES --- My 56th Birthday

Where are you and your family traveling from? Dallas, Texas

How long will your trip to Disneyland Resort take? Flying from Love Field airport on Southwest. It will take about 4 1/2 hours.

Is this your first trip to Disneyland Resort? No

Who are you traveling / vacationing with this time? My DH, Koyne, DS Spencer, DS Jackson, and myself (Rachel)

Are you and your Family celebrating a special occasion? Not really, just our return to the Happiest Place on Earth after a 4-year absence!

2. How long will your trip to Disneyland Resort take? We will leave our house at 3 am, drive 3.5 hours to Detroit (DTW) and then take two planes to LAX. We are due to land at 12:50. We should be at our hotel by 2:30.

3. Is this your first trip to Disneyland Resort? Nope. I am from California so I used to go quite a bit. It will be my husband's second trip and my son't first.

4. Who are you traveling / vacationing with this time. My husband, my son,and my mom.


5. Are you and your Family celebrating a special occasion? Yes, Sebastian's 5th birthday.

6-7 hours - though we are staying with friends first and won't get to DLR til the day after our arrival. Technically, our friends live about 20 mins from DLR. (lucky ducks, aren't they?)

No, but it may be our last visit as AP holders.

Drive 1 hour to closest airport. 6 hour flight to LAX with one short stop in between

It's our 16th wedding anniversary the day we check into the Grand Californian. Woohoo!

Lynden, WA.


2. How long will your trip to Disneyland Resort take?

It takes 20 minutes to drive to the Bellingham Airport. It is a 35 minute flight to Seattle. Then a 3 1/2 hour lay over (that is new used to only be an hour and a half!) then a 2 hour and 40 minute flight to SNA. All in all really only just over 3 hours in the air but longer due to the layover.


3. Is this your first trip to Disneyland Resort?

Nope. My 4th, DH's 3rd, DD, DS and DS 2nd.


4. Who are you traveling / vacationing with this time.

Myself (Dawn), DH Darren, DD Arielle (pronounced r-E-L, not like the mermaid) 15, DS Caleb 13 and DS Matthew 12.


5. Are you and your Family celebrating a special occasion?

Just being together. However the trip is between DD's birthday and our 23rd Anniversary so we will have a mini celebration at Goofy's

Niece's high school graduation. We offered her Universal Florida to see Potter, NYC for Broadway shows or DLR. Kid takes after her aunt!

Thanks RHMH, it's been interesting reading everyone's replies. I know we'd all said at some stage where we were coming from but I am easily confused so it's been lovely reading it all in line. Thank you

1. Where are you and your family traveling from?
Wellington, New Zealand - I think Waterford, Ireland beats me in terms of distance

2. How long will your trip to Disneyland Resort take?
It's a 1 hour flight Wellington to Auckland, then a two hour layover, then a 12 hour flight to LAX.
(Gosh, RHMH that's a long drive for you guys. Are you breaking it up overnight or trying to do it all in one haul?)

3. Is this your first trip to Disneyland Resort?
No. I have cousins who live in southern California so I've been several times over the years when we've visited them. This will be my kids' third time - the lucky things. It's not that common for kids in New Zealand to have been to Disneyland more than once! But the last two times (2009 and 2010) we were in town for my cousins' weddings so Disneyland was an add-on.

4. Who are you traveling / vacationing with this time?
My husband and my two kids - ages 6 and 8.5.

5. Are you and your family celebrating a special occasion?
Not really. Although it was our 10th wedding anniversary this year and we would've taken a trip somewhere to celebrate that if we hadn't already booked this trip to California and Canada.

Just checking the DLR Entertainment Schedule for July - they've released up til 5 July now You will be pleased to know that from 4 July, it looks like the only planned refurbishment is Finding Nemo. Hopefully it all stays on track and Space Mountain will reopen 4 July as planned.

Also, it looks like they've gone back and added in the Early Morning Hour and Magic Morning info for the applicable days.

According to the sticky thread here on the DIS (http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/plan.htm#rehab), Space Mountain is scheduled to re-open on July 7. The date has already been pushed forward a few times, so keep an eye on it.

Sorry, but I don't know why it says there's no early admission for July 1. Hopefully it's just a glitch.

Just checked the Calendar, and they have finally added in Extra Magic Hour/Magic Morning for the first 5 days in July!

Looks like everything is as expected---Hooray!!!!

Driving straight through... it won't be to bad going to Disney BUT the coming back will be challenging. Everyone will be while I drive...I will probably be lots of coffee, to a lot of and focusing on

We will drive to Chicago to the airport, then a 6.5 hour flight including a layover in Vegas. We are flying in and out of Burbank because that's where my sister lives. We booked our flight before we decided which days we'd be going to Disney. We will pick up our rental car and drive to Anaheim.
