So excited! Just made Goofy's reservations for the 17th at 5 pm! WOOT! 57 days until we get to leave!

Does anyone else use the lime green Mickey head's for tags? I do! It will be on my lanyard along with a crystal heart. I will try to get a picture of it. Of course I will have my Minnie Ears on

1. What Souvenir/s do you plan to purchase during your Disney Vacation?
The kids will probably get a new tshirt each. I would like to get a Christmas tree ornament.

2. If you have a touring and dining schedule… do you think you will deviate from your original plan?
We won't have a plan as such but we will have a list of everyone's priorities that we will try to get to. And we have two dining reservations which I see no reason not to stick to.

3. Do you plan to walk, drive or take the Anaheim shuttle to and from the parks?
We'll walk.

4. Do you think you will eat breakfast at the IHOP across street from the parks?
No. We don't tend to eat a large breakfast (slows us down physically and chronologically - my son is a veeeeeery slow eater). We will try to eat a light healthy breakfast at our hotel to save time and money.

5. Do you think you might a morning or afternoon and Resort Hop during your Disney Vacation? (Visit the 3 Disney Hotels, shop and eat).
No. I'd like to but we only have two days so time is precious. One day I really want to go to Trader Sam's though.

6. Do you think one of your family members will ask, Can we stay just one more day?
I don't know. We are off to LEGOLAND the very day after we leave Disneyland so that might be enough of an incentive to leave. We are on a tight trip schedule and I think the kids do understand that.

7. Do you have certain pictures you have to have taken during your Disney vacation?
Not really. I just wants LOTS of photos of us having fun.

8. On what day of your vacation, will one of a family member say – Can we come back next year?
Probably day one. But at the same time, even my 6 and 8 year old understand I think that living on the other side of the world means it's a wish rather than a realistic plan.

9. Will you try to keep up with a Disney Trip Report during your vacation or will you wait until you get home?
I probably won't do a trip report but I will come back after our 3 week holiday to chat to you guys and compare stories.

10. Do you play games on the way to Disney or does everyone have their own entertainment planned?
12 hour flight so in-flight movies, games, books, and activities galore. I love the Guess The Disney Character game too. I forget who said they play that. Ours has morphed into Guess the random Character though because my husband forgets who is Disney, who is DreamWorks etc

11. Do you carry a portable battery charger with a USB cord for your phone during the day?
No. But I did giggle at Mum's Backpack of Doom.

12. How many times will you get on Dis while at Disney? Probably not at all unless I have a question. We will have limited connectivity while we're in the US. Relying on hotel WIFI.

Can't believe it's the weekend again... Time is flying by.

Here we go with round # 11.... Questions below.

1. What Souvenir/s do you plan to purchase during your Disney Vacation?
Silhouette of my boys, a sweatshirt for me maybe, and maybe a new photo frame.

2. If you have a touring and dining schedule… do you think you will deviate from your original plan?
We haven't decided yet about a schedule, and with two little ones we always deviate from our plans. LOL.

3. Do you plan to walk, drive or take the Anaheim shuttle to and from the parks?
We will walk.

4. Do you think you will eat breakfast at the IHOP across street from the parks?
As much as I LOVE breakfast, probably not. Need to get RSR fastpasses since we cannot do single rider with the little guys.

5. Do you think you might take a morning or afternoon and Resort Hop during your Disney Vacation? (Visit the 3 Disney Hotels, shop and eat)
Maybe depending on how hot and tired everyone is.

6. Do you think one of your family members will ask, Can we stay just one more day?
DS6 already is!

Would love a family photo in front of the Castle and at Cars Land

8. On what day of your vacation, will one of a family member say – Can we come back next year?
We go often enough, they will want to go back right away

Probably wait until I get home.

We bring Ipads for movies for the kids and will probably play eye-spy a couple of times.

I do, but never use it. I try to stay as unconnected as possible in the parks.

12. How many times will you get on Dis while at Disney?
I might occasionally check it at the hotel, etc to see if I'm missing anything or post about something we saw that others might be interested in, etc.

I don't know it hurts the kiddos that we aren't going to WDW this year because we're going DLR. We'll see - maybe we'll love DLR more!

I always write notes in my travel journal at night. I rarely turn that into something electronic!

10. Do you play games on the way to Disney or does everyone have their own entertainment planned?
We have a long flight on our way to SAN but it is just a 90 minute drive up. Kids will probably sleep in the car. They are 11, 10, 10 but they still sleep in the car no matter the time of day.

11. Do you carry a portable battery charger with a USB cord for your phone during the day?
Yes but I rarely use it. My phone can make it until our early afternoon pool break without needing to charge.

12. How many times will you get on Dis while at Disney?
I'll check at night or maybe early am before the family wakes.

I'm ridiculously excited that the Entertainment Schedule is up for 1 July - even though we're not there till 7 July. But I have two questions from what I saw:

1 - It says Space Mountain will be down for refurbishment. Did we know that? Do we know when it's back up?

2 - It says no early admission on that Tuesday. I thought there was Magic Morning admission to DL on Tuesdays (we have 3-day park hoppers).

I always get a Christmas ornament. My nephews usually have lots of wants, but we have told them they have to save their own money for souvenirs so who knows.

I can't do my commando style touring because my parents can't keep up, lol. I will have a basic plan that includes the nighttime shows on certain days and we will stick with that.

3. Do you plan to walk, drive or take the Anaheim shuttle to and from the parks?
Probably drive. We are staying in a condo that provides a free parking pass so I'm planning on driving the first day (assuming we can figure out how to get Mom's rental ECV in the minivan). We will see how that goes and plan accordingly.

No, we plan to eat all breakfasts at the condo except Surfs Up with Mickey for my nephew's birthday.

I would like to explore DTD and the hotels, but it will all depend on my parents and nephews.

Yes! However, I also think one of my nephews will be missing his parents and be ready to go.

7. Do you have certain pictures you have to have taken during your Disney vacation?
We have the Photopass Plus so I'm planning on getting as many as possible (or as many as my nephews will put up with, ha ha).

8. On what day of your vacation, will one of a family member say – Can we come back next year?
I'm not sure. 6/7 of us were in WDW last year and they want to go back so it will be interesting to see what they think of DLR.

9. Will you try to keep up with a Disney Trip Report during your vacation or will you wait until you get home?
I definitely will not do it there since all of my energy will be focused on ensuring the safety and happiness of 2 elderly parents and 4 young kids! I would love to do one when we get back, but you know what they say about the best intentions.

10. Do you play games on the way to Disney or does everyone have their own entertainment planned?
We have two 2.5 hour flights to get there and we leave early so I think they will play games on their iPads and watch movies a lot of the time.

Yes, it came in very handy last year at WDW.

12. How many times will you get on Dis while at Disney?
Not sure. I will use it for info when needed probably.

Space was supposed to open on the 26th I believe but it was pushed out and now it and Alice are supposed to open on the 4th. My two favourite rides

I think I read somewhere on DIS that they sometimes won't put the MM up right away. I know, I'd like to know that, too.

Yay - We have officially booked our hotel! After all the hemming and hawing, we decided on the GCH. We haven't stayed since 2010. It'll be nice stay just a bit closer to the parks, than the DLH.

July 12-13 - staying nearby at a friend's house. They just moved into a new home and are in the process of building a pool. Hoping it's ready by the time we get there! They are AP holders, so we will go together on Sunday the 13th. Saturday is our travel day/non park day.

July 14-15-16 - moving to GCH. Parks days will be 14, 15. We'll depart the 16th - we usually take off in the morning, so it's unlikely we'll head the parks. But since it's our last visit as AP holders (and we have no set time to return), maybe we'll go in for one last hurrah on Wednesday morning.

According to the sticky thread here on the DIS (http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/plan.htm#rehab), Space Mountain is scheduled to re-open on July 7. The date has already been pushed forward a few times, so keep an eye on it.

Sorry, but I don't know why it says there's no early admission for July 1. Hopefully it's just a glitch.
