Thanks for your advice. It was 7 May in Anaheim when I was trying to make ADR for 7 July and 7 July was showing on the booking calendar so I assumed it was all going to work ok. I tried waiting "patiently" (ok, not so patiently ) for the time in Anaheim to roll over to 8 May and I'm still having no joy. Different error message this time though - now it says "We're sorry, there is a problem searching for Table Service reservations at this time." Ugh.

I checked the website before I posted a response to your thread and July 7 was still in grey. However, I checked again after midnight and received the same error message you did initially, even though the date was in blue and could apparently be booked. It's very strange. I was able to book my reservation for July 7 after I woke up this morning though. Hopefully you've had success by now!

Yes, I got my 7 July ADR. Just a few moments ago. Yippee. But I am having the same problem now with 8 July. I don't know why the day shows on the calendar but won't let you book it. Something to do with us being a day ahead in time zones I suspect. Anyway, got my ADR for 7 July so that is exciting

So we're all booked in for Goofy's Kitchen at 6.30pm on Monday 7 July. Fun.

Posting these questions of the week, reminds me of how fast the weeks fly by and how close we are getting to our Disney Vacations.

I am posting these questions help us to remember things we need bring and to do.

1. Are you one Park a Day or Park Hoppers?

We are 1 park a day people.

2. Do you like taking afternoon breaks?

We take a break 2 days out of 9 days at Disney.

3. What do like to carry in the Parks? Back Packs, Waist Packs, Hipsters, Large Totes or _____?

I carry back pack.

4. What do you take pictures & videos with? Digital Combo Video / Cameras, DSLR Cameras, DVD Camcorders, H8 Videos, Digital Camcorders or Phones?

We use a Combo digital camera and video.

5. Do you bring your own snacks & drinks, buy your snacks & drinks or do a little of both?

We always bring frozen water and gatorade bottles if our room has a combo frig/freezer. We also to a little of both..

6. Do you end up shopping at least once at a Target, Wal-Mart or _____ while you are at Disney?

We always have to run to Wal-Mart or a store close by for things.

7. When you get to Disney… What is one thing you forget to bring?

MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha

8. Do you wear tennis shoes, sandals, crocks, flip flops or _____?

We are tennis shoes by I carry sandals and flip flops in my back pack just in case we want to change before water rides.

9. Do you do laundry while at Disney? If you do, do you bring detergent pod, small powder boxes, liquid detergent or purchase your needs at the laundry room?

I always bring detergent pods.

10. Do you carry a mini first aid kit to the parks?

I leave a first aid kit at the hotel and carry bandages and neo sporran in a little baggie.

11. Do you bring your own rain gear from home or purchase souvenir rain gear if needed?

We bring our own Parkas and Umbrellas.

12. Do you take sun screen to the parks or put it on before you leave your hotel?

Put sun screen on before we leave and take spray sunscreen with us.

13. Do you get groceries delivered? If so who do you use?

I always get 2 cases of water, a case of Gatorade and a few snacks delivered.. Since we are avid WDW vacationers, I use Wego Shopping. I will use Von's since we are going to DLR.

There is a target a little north of the parks. but I have not seen a Wal-Mart in the area - using the map link above

We are also researching this.... We want to see real live Starfish and not dried up ones... So we researched You-Tube and found Dana's Point and Laguna might be the ones we visit. Huntington beach will have a National Surfing Competition going on so that may be a site to see..

You may be like us... We could guide anyone around at WDW but DLR feels soooo foreign to us.

We are definitely eating at the Plaza but I am wishy - washy about WOC dining package.. We may just do FP
The menus at DLR don't jump up and grab us, but we are still looking.

2. We usually don't take a huge break unless the kids are melting down
3. I carry a crossover bag. We still use a stroller so our backpack is on that.
4. I carry my DSLR in my crossover. I use my iPhone for video.
5. We bring our snacks and drinks. Backpack full of snacks and soft sided cooler for drinks. We usually pick one treat a day to buy. And at dinner DH and I get a soda and let the boys get milk. DH and I usually get a tea at Starbucks too. Otherwise we try to hydrate with water all day.
6. I've only had to shop once when I forgot the boys bibs when they were younger. We drive so I shop ahead of time
7. I'm an overpacker so usually I don't forget much. (Only the bibs that one time!)
8. I wear my Skechers go walks, my Clark's or my orthaheel flip flops.
9. Never do laundry
10. Always carry a mini first aid kit! I have 2 boys! Lol.
11. I bring our DL ponchos even if not rainy. My boys like to wear them on water rides.
12. We put sunscreen on in the morning and reapply during the day. We are all fair especially my DS4 who is a red head.
13. Never done grocery delivery yet

3. What do like to carry in the Parks? Back Packs, Waist Packs, Hipsters, Large Totes or _____? I am going to be carrying a light crossbody. DH will be wearing a backpack. I didn't want to have to carry tons of stuff this time.

4. What do you take pictures & videos with? I bought a new point and shoot because I didn't want to drag our heavy DSLR around. We'll also have our Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note to take video. My mom will also have her camera.

5. Do you bring your own snacks & drinks, buy your snacks & drinks or do a little of both? Normally I never bought snacks, even in all the times I've been. This time I want to actually try some of them. We may bring my son's fave snack into the park which are almonds and dried cranberries.

7. When you get to Disney… What is one thing you forget to bring? Patience? LOL, no I don't know. I don't think I've ever forgotten anything.

8. Do you wear tennis shoes, sandals, crocks, flip flops or _____? I've worn tennis shoes, wedges (because a heel makes my tibial tortion feel better), flip flops. My DH bought me some Birkenstocks so I will probably switch between those and tennis shoes with flip flops for water rides.

9. Do you do laundry while at Disney? Nope. I have never been there long enough. The longest was 2 days! 5 days will seem like a luxury. I like the idea of pods though. I might bring a couple just in case of clothing disasters.

10. Do you carry a mini first aid kit to the parks? No. If I ever needed anything I've utilized First Aid. They are awesome there. Ladies, if you ever find you need emergency feminine products while in the parks they have you covered!

11. Do you bring your own rain gear from home or purchase souvenir rain gear if needed? No, but I want to get dollar store ponchos for this trip for WOC and such but I can't find any.

12. Do you take sun screen to the parks or put it on before you leave your hotel? I put it on before and usually carry it in my backpack. I don't know if I will do so this time after applying it to everyone.

13. Do you get groceries delivered? Never have but since we are using Lansky this time we do have a grocery stop so we'll stop at Trader Joes.

When you get to Disney… What is one thing you forget to bring? Someone always seems to forget their toothbrush! At the HOJO they have a little store with snacks/drinks, toiletries, gifts/souvenirs, for any emergencies.

We take an afternoon break. We take a quick swim and switch shoes. Then we can close the park down.

DH and myself use a fanny pack. I like having hands free. We also got mini hand held mister fans that will clip on belt loops (found at Walmart for $4). We will also carry our water bottles that have the neoprene covers with a strap.

I have always used a point and shoot Nikon but this year am adding in my Droid Ultra phone camera for videos and pictures. Don't forget Ziplock backs for the wet rides! We also get and use the Photo Pass Plus.

We are using our refillable water bottles. I plan on picking up some small snacks, granola bars, fruit snacks for quick pick me ups.

I never have before, but since we are taking a cab this time instead of DLRE I *think* I may have them stop, but don't want to be charged an arm and a leg for doing so.

Not much, usually small things that I can pick up as needed, more suncreen, etc.

We switch between sandals and tennis shoes. Usually half way through the day. Saves the feet.

Yes! We only bring carry on and need to do laundry. I have some 3 in 1 washing sheets that I bought for use on Disney trips. They are flat, no liquid (for airlines) and have a built in fabric softener.

I usually have some band-aids in my fanny pack. I of course get the Mickey Mouse ones

I get the rain parkas at the Dollar store. 2 for $1 and we can chuck them when done. We don't use umbrellas, we are from Washington State, we always joke umbrellas are for tourist.
