We were looking to book our next trip in April at the beautiful Polynesian. However since we got back this week where we stayed in a royal guestroom in POR and our friends at a suite at AoA. My DH is wanting to stay there now in a LK suite since we stayed in LM at Christmas. He really liked the idea of two bathrooms and I kinda agree two bathrooms would be nice, but I'm also kinda sad about not staying at Poly. So I guess we'll just stay there another time. I do love AoA its very kid friendly and our girls love it. So we'll be checking into AoA March 29th through April 5th. I can't wait to start planning this vacation. Our trip last week was only a 5 night stay so I'm looking forward to staying a week next year.

Does anyone else have any other trips planned between now and 2014? I'm really hoping to get something on the calendar, possibly even a Disney trip with my sister, nephew and DD in April 2014.

For those of you with spouses who aren't into Disney, how do you convince them to give the thumbs up to take a vacation without them?

We are going January 25-31, I think we changed our minds and staying at POP... it will depend on if Free Dining happens again.

DD is turning 5. We are going to surprise her with a b-day trip.

I'll get you added to the January list and keep my fingers crossed for FD for you.

Going for our first WDW trip in oct. There are 6 of us my hubby, daughter, son in law, my two granddaughters and myself. My daughter has a couple friends and their family's going at the same time and we are all staying at POR. But we have royal rooms and the rest are in the reg rooms. The girls will be 4 and 8 when we go but we will celebrate their birthdays while we are at the world. Their birthdays are in November. Also celebrating our anniversary (oct 7th) a little late. lol My daughter and I have been reading boards and getting stuff together for a couple of months now....already so excited I can't stand it and not allowed to mention plans to hubby until we are ready to go. I grew up in Vegas been to Disneyland more times than I can count and took my kids there so gave the Disney bug to my daughter.

About to start reading the entire thread but wanted to shout out that I am sooooo excited DH agreed to a 2014 trip probably October family of 6 looking at WBC so far!!! Last time it was October 2012AoA LK suite looooved it!

Going Jan 5-11 just DH and I. Staying at ASMo

Going back Nov 20-28 DH, DS(21), DD(14), DN(23), DN(16) and me. We will stay in a family suite at AoA

Finally locked in 2014 dates/flights this morning! We will be there January 25th-31st, 2014 and staying at POFQ! Can't wait to start making dining reservations and for the packages to come out next month! Hopefully we'll get some sort of discount but our flights ended up being free so that was a huge help!

Really hoping that my hubby and I will be able to go away Sept of 2014! I wanted 2013 but to save up the money was very unlikely. Still my "Disney account" is hurting Hopefully though I have plenty of time to save up the $ needed!!

The trip this year doesn't include my husband. My parents decided they wanted to take me and my girls down for a week (my parents are annual pass holders) but Hubby gets to stay home and work. Sep 2014 will be just the two of us so it will have to come out of our pocket. I would love to experience Disney with just us enjoying each other as husband and wife rather than our usual roles of mom and dad.

Gotcha! Where would you want to stay next year - any ideas? Don't know if you've been to POR but it is lovely and they have the horse drawn carriage ride, also.

Due to our budget I am going to have to stay at a value and pray that free dining is offered again. I would love to stay at a moderate but maybe sometime in the future. My goal is to save about $3000 and from my calculations that should cover all the expenses even if free dining isn't offered. So heres to hoping that we can save the money

There is nothing wrong with staying at a value - I personally LOVED Pop! It has a fun atmosphere, the food court is great, no sharing buses, nice staff.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you're able to save the money! Have any dates in mind so I can put you on the September list?

Thats good to know about POP I will have to see if we can stay there then. For dates I am hoping for the 8th to the 15th. My girls will be in school by then and hopefully settled in so we can go away. I also want to go when crowds are low and I know Sept. is good with that. Hopefully being on this thread will help keep me motivated!

My kids and I are going April 3-11 2014. As of right now, I am planning to stay off property, but I am going to do some price comparison once the packages are released We will be celebrating my kids' first trip and my DD's birthday!

We're sticking with the month of May but doing a split-stay!

Dates: May 8-16 -- 4 nights in AOA Nemo Suite / 4 nights in 2 rooms at POR

Everybody's happy with the resorts -- hubby is going to his reunion weekend alone and meet up with us when we switch to POR -- and we get 8 vacation days!! Woot!!!
