Quick update on me:

I ended up removing the ticker from my sig this weekend because things are so undecided right now on what we're doing. My husband wants me to look into a cruise again. I'm leaving my dates on the list because if we do go to WDW, it will be those dates.

Every time I think I have things figured out, he changes things. I'd like to be decided soon so I can settle down and quit worrying about it all!

Oh, no! What kind of cruise? A disney cruise with a couple extra days at the park would be fun. Hopefully you will get something figured out soon!

I know! It is very frustrating. I totally understand why, but when you are actually in the situation, it stinks. Especially when our youngest will have just turned 3...like if we go a month earlier we could stay in any resort of our choice. Oh, well!! I am still looling at WBC and the other off-site options. Actually, this summer we are staying at a place, and I can't believe I have forgotten the name! But if we love it, and it's close enough, we might stay there again. I'm going to try to just forget the "where" of our WDW trip until after this summer b/c then we will at least know if we will be happy off site during a Disney trip.

I hope your summer trip goes well - when are you going again?

I am going with my daughter and her dance company June 2014, dates haven't been announced but I am guessing the last week. I'm sure will be staying at one of the All Stars!


And to be fair to the rest of my kids.....I will be returning with my boys the first week of November!! We will be staying at the Boardwalk!!

We will be down this summer June 12-18! No schedule yet...just know we'll probably do 2 days at SeaWorld and at least a day at Aquatica.

I tried and tried to figure out a way to do a 2013 trip, but it is just not going to happen. So like any good disser, I figured out my countdown (620 days), my ADR day (June 1, 2014) and then started to think about where I want to eat. I haven't made a ticker because I am not totally sure which week we will go. We are leaning heavily towards the Friday after Thanksgiving. But no discounts, heavy crowds and high prices that weekend make me nervous.

What issues has Royal Caribbean had this year? I know about the Carnival problems, but hadn't heard of any with RCI.

Black Friday. I think we might hang out at the resort and do Hoop De Doo that night. If we didnt go then, we would go that next week, arriving on Saturday. We might even fly down Thanksgiving night. But again, that would mean crazy prices.

Well........in my mind we are staying at CR or WL. Realistically we will stay at POFQ and then at CR for the last 2 nights. I REALLY want to watch Wishes from my balcony one night and walk back from MK one night. But I did check the price to stay at CR the whole time, so that is my savings goal. I even broke it down by month. I have issues.

I honestly wouldn't hit a park unless you went to MK (which would be insane the day after thanksgiving) getting to FW is time consuming and I would use the afternoon to explore the monorail resorts and then take the boat to FW.... Unless you rented a car

Or go the week after hit MK and take the boat to FW!

I guess it is time for me to join! We are planning a trip to celebrate our 10 anniversary that is happening this year but our youngest will only be 1 and we wanted to wait until he was 2+! My oldest will be 4! I am ecstatic!! We are planning for 10 days! Out travel dates are 9/17-9/27. We are planning to fly out 9/17 in the evening. Our hotel will be Animal Kingdom Kidani Village. We want to take our moms with us....waiting to hear from them.

Question...we were going to book a 2 bedroom dedicated savannah view room. We priced it out using this years price and found getting 2 studio savannah rooms is 2000 dollars cheaper! While it would be nice to have the extra room, full kitchen, washer/dryer is it really worth it?! We will have 2 and 4 year old with us...so we will be up early and hit the pool in the afternoon. So many choices!!!

I have 3 girls ~ I think if I could, I would love to stay in a Little Mermaid room at AoA. Never stayed there ~ so I can't tell you about it but they look cute!! Not sure how much it will be, but we have stayed at WL. We loved it!! I am actually sad that we won't be able to stay there again (since we are now a family of 5 and can't fit in a standard room). I love that everything is in one building! The beach area is fun, you can watch the EWP and there is also a playground on the beach. My oldest loved the pool slide. The boat ride over to MK is nice too. If I can answer anything else specifically I'll be happy to!

Are there specific areas at WL which are better than others? I'm guessing if we are able to stay here, we would do MK a little more (maybe not do AK this time around) and then want to be close to the pool. I think I need to checkout the WL thread and gather some info there also.

As far as your question goes, "worth" is kind of an individual thing. How much will you be in the room to appreciate that $2,000 worth of space? Are you going to spend a lot of time at the resort, or will most of your time be spent at the parks? Will you be doing any cooking, and are you planning to do any laundry while there?
