So I'm a few weeks ahead on my plan. I was already at 10K back in May, treaded water for awhile there and decided to push forward, mainly for weight loss, and am now planning a 9 miler on Saturday.
I might stop here though and hold steady. It's super hot here and in order to build any kind of mileage, I have to go early in the AM. Finishing a 9+miler by 7 AM will be hard. I have the DLR 10K coming up on 8/31 so by the time I get there, it'll be just another run.
Hard to believe that I've come this far. I remember my first day of my first C25K run in January, 2012 and I thought that 30 seconds was going to kill me! What a transformation!
Can't wait for that after party!

We got there about 7:15ish last year and got to the start in plenty of time to hang out, get pics taken and let the nerves try and take over.

I sent a email to runDisney. Almost hoping they don't email me back and it sells out!

), then had part of a turkey sub around 5pm. I was too hyped to eat much.
. I had a sore throat tues, but went out anyway and did my run, now I am 10x worse and had to skip yesterday.
